Anyone who is saying that countries like Poland and especially Czech, Slovenia, Croatia are somehow is Eastern Europe is just baiting and you shouldn't even respond.
Classification like this was already bullshit in the times of Cold War and purely political and economical - not cultural or geographical.
Every Western scholar will clasify these countries as Central Europe or something other special snowflake region.
It's not even like these countries want to distinguish themselves, show how "first world" they are and how different from russkies(actually there are a lot of russiaboos in Poland) but it's more like classifying half of the continent as 1 region doesn't make much sense. It doesn't make sense to say that 90% catholic, heavily influenced by Germany(language, art, architecture) Poland is the same region as built on Orthodox tradition Russia. Like it doesn't make much sense to say that Greece is really Western Europe especially now when they are actually poorer than Czech Republic.
