the pic is from google image search, but it's the same today. 52%+ voters of the government see them as the savior of the country and islam. there are people comparing erdogan with ataturk etc. last week was probably the last straw, it finally achieved making the soldiers the enemy of the state and islam/erdogan the only possible savior in their eyes. i don't see any possibility of turning back from this point.
it took ww1 and ataturk to realize what went wrong with ottoman empire and we are at the same point right now after a century. might as well say fuck it.
