It's hard to tell. It's not something I would really notice and remember. Maybe a couple of years ago at the grocery store for some obese old person.

Was at a hotel for an event and saw a guy on a massive scooter in the lobby. It must have been five feet long and had eight inch wheels, looked more like an all-terrain vehicle. He wasn't fat and he got off the scooter to go into the bathroom (no way that monster was going to fit) and he obviously had problems walking, so I understand the need for the scooter, but not its size. Maybe it is for off-roading.

Sadly enough I see one every week.
It's a mix of handicapped people, but I will occasionally see someone who is so fat that I'm not sure if they are legit handicapped or just being a lazy fucker.

Unironically saw a old, transgendered, OBESE, shithead on a train in boston yesterday. And that wasn't even the worst part.

They were on the scooter on the train, blocking the entrance to the train. I saw like 5 people miss their train because the fat fucking blob just sat there on the scooter looking at its phone while people tried to sneak by and ask them to move.

First time I've ever even seen a mobility scooter and it was like a real life fucking meme
