It depends, lower class thai men are usually very dark and act manly, upper class thais are very light skin and usually act sort of beta like japs, naturally there are outliers though.

People don't tend to date outside their class here, it's a very rigid system.
You won't see a light-skinned woman with a dark-skinned man(they're dark because they have to work outside all day, which means they get tans)
I saw "skin-whitening" products whilst I was in japan, but it's a real fucking big deal here, people go to extreme lengths to get pale skin

If you have no experience teaching (2 years minimum), no teaching license and no previous experience working in Japan as an English teacher, finding a job in the city will be sadly very difficult.

They don't tell you where they're putting you, unless you go to Japan to do this process.
Many recommend going there to find a job to be the best way to do it tbqh, since JET is pretty bad and will most likely send you to the middle of nowhere.
