What languages are you learning?
You did practice today, didn't you?

Russian, and of course.
Nope, it's too hard to learn a new language.
Well you know English and that's all you really need in life
I've only did my German practice once in about three months shit
Little bit of english and more little bit of german.
Du biest shwaine (i forget german)
Why
Polish
Yes
Why am I learning Russian? Because it's the best sounding language and I'm going to Russia next summer to play in a symphony.
I'm learning Portuguese in Duolingo but i haven't practiced in a while
What is mus. instrument?
What city will you visit? Moscow or leningrad i guess
Don't use duolingo. There are better programs through books, and computer programs that you can torrent of you don't have money. Duolingo will give you the very basics but nothing you will actually use or remember for a long time.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting how rich you westerners are.
My instrument is the tuba. And we're going to Moscow and then for a day or two in Saint Petersburg
>I'm learning Portuguese in Duolingo
You are learning absolutely nothing with that joke of a program.
German
Not yet
What do I do when vocab/grammar exercises are too easy but books are too hard? Just power through the books and hope for a breakthrough?
I can reliably get through children's literature (for kids around 13 I guess). High school level is where I start to notice trouble. News articles aren't much of a problem, it's more that they can't keep my attention so I zone out a bit and stop taking it in.
The thing is Portuguese is almost the same as Spanish, i just need the very basics to get it
Try conversation.
Korean and Hindi, but haven't practiced in weeks coz of work overload, fucking construction
I post on /deutsch/ every now and then. I have no one to talk with in German (don't know native speakers and no one wanted to learn with me (I'm doing it for fun and personal enrichment)). I make up conversations in my head though!
Try italki or hellolingo
>usually only practice in transit
>got peer-pressured into the Pokemon Go meme
Japanese and Spanish. I was trying to do it simultaneously but found it to be impractical, at least when just starting out with both.
So currently only the former.
Since it's the first time I'm learning a language of my own volition I feel like I have a fair chance to stick with it.
Could also brush up my crappy French sometime but I can't really find the motivation.
REEEEEE
I'm trying to improve my english listening skills.
