for some reasons spaniards genetically understand some arabic words, ya habibi

t. I am a Greek.

I was curious about the unknown word and looked for its etymology. Wiktionary, my dumb friend, Wiktionary.

Just because some ""professionals""do something hypocritical it doesnt mean we should follow their example

HOW NOW YOW

if pluto is a planet then a bunch of objets near the same size should be too, ceres, eris, makemake...

the classification dwarf planet is a good one

Then why is Mercury still a planet despite being moon sized?

1 The object must be in orbit around the Sun.
2 The object must be massive enough to be rounded by its own gravity. More specifically, its own gravity should pull it into a shape of hydrostatic equilibrium.
3 It must have cleared the neighborhood around its orbit.

Pluto fails to meet the third condition, because its mass is only 0.07 times that of the mass of the other objects in its orbit. The IAU further decided that bodies that, like Pluto, meet criteria 1 and 2 but do not meet criterion 3 would be called dwarf planets.

it's still way bigger and denser (could be the nucleous of an old minineptune) than any dwarf planet

and has cleaned its orbit (considered something that a real planet should've done)

>bɛnus

Mercury hasnt cleared its neighbourhood because it never had one in the first place

...

Then Mercury is a lucky lazy planet

Merkur
Venus
Erde
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptun

I wish we would use Germanic names.

>I wish we would use Germanic names.
this

Let's try to make our version then.

I will start with Catalan (note that I'm probably doing it more Norse than "south Germanic"):

Ermod
Freia
Airda
Teig
Tor (Or maybe Odin)
Imir (Maybe?)
Odin?
Egir

(I know this is autistic. Please no h8)
