Bolivia is part of the Southern Cone

recovering for discussing proposes

Should have removed Falklands as well.

Sao Paulo is as Southern Cone as Região Sul 2bh

kek

The south is our country

because we have to anex them

What year is this from? These numbers don't look quite right.

This...

Who wants to be argentinian when you can be british and first world...

...

I did that pic.
I can color Sao Paulo with its own flag instead of the Sulista one if you think it's more accurate.

Please do it, I just quickly shopped out São Paulo, they are their own thing desu

Surrounding oil and territorial antarctic claim

nigger

Problem is that São Paulo has no chance of ever seceding from Brazil and they belong to a different geographical region. I wouldn't mind an union along with them, but I don't think it's happening.

>Uruguay $5720 per capita

wut? It's this from the 90s? It's 16k nominal and 22k PPP in dollars.

so much this, if my city looked like that I would say ''God save the Queen'' as well, who say otherwise are just a bunch of hypocrites

More like legitimacy/diplomatic reputation, Argentinian/republican pride... spiritual value, rather than actual resource value. The Falklands really aren't worth fighting for resource-wise. Plus, it's the British navy, and they're fairly known for being quite experienced at naval warfare.

>southern cone think they are first world and european

Found the peruvian proxy.

They lost a bunch of naval wars against Iceland. The brits are a fucking joke.

Shut up Satoshi.

nippon-sensei pls send more animu and cute girls

>Davido-kun with a proxy thinks he's Japanese

Anyway, southern cone is comparable to European countries like Poortugal, Pooland and the Baltic states. Not first world, but not quite African-tier shithole either.

When did that happen?

>

There

I just stick to official data. I don't take on account "I think that it shouldn't be Southern Cone" etc... When I mean Southern Cone, I mean... The official macro-region known as Southern Cone "Argentina, Chile, Uruguay" plus "Paraguay, the four southernmost states of Brazil and also The Falklands".

The problem with the Falklands/Malvinas is they continue to be used as a political agenda for domestic consumption in Argentina. The Argentines pretty much have carte blanche in terms of coming up with a viable solution that we would all support (except perhaps for Chile) but there isn't one and the UK is still strong enough you can't strongarm them into anything... Full sovereignity over thei islands is something you're never going to get, ffs we have more cooperation with the French and more of a say on Clipperton, than you have with the UK...

somos cosos

>paraguay

cual partes?

...

Uruguay has USD$20 000 PPP, Southern Brazil apparently has USD$33 000 PPP (as of 2013), and that while considering pic related where we lose literally billions to Brazil and its centralized government every year. Money that is literally being blatantly stolen from us.

Que ganas de pegar pepa este finde

>Brasil

"Due to its geographical proximity, common history and political cicles, Paraguay is often included in what we understand as Southern Cone. It strongly contrasts from the other countries for its high level of poverty, low living standard, and low indutstry level, reasons why it sometimes get excluded from this definition."

>fumar merca

pega fumarla? watafac loko

>43000 PPP
I believe you that South Brazil is richer than Germany

...

>USD$33 000

What? where did you get that? South Brazil is richer than Italy or Spain?

Yeah, São Paulo is seriously a financial & industrial titan. Their mindset regarding work ethnics is also totally alien to ours, the main reason people think they're far too obsessed with work and its a state of workaholics.

Typo. 33k, not 43k.

That fucking cocaine looks like sugar...

no tenes aguante

meh we have larger cultural diferences inside our country than there are between Central American, Caribean or Andean nations, nevermind the Southern Cone, and yet we have nothing that resembles real separatism...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Brazilian_federative_units_by_gross_domestic_product

The only data I could find was that the South has 13k of nominal GDP per capita in USD which is below Uruguay's 15k.

no fucking hell.

GET THE FUCK OTTA HERE

it's the jews at it again

>pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cone_Sul

You must consider the year and the fact that Southern Brazil isn't a centralized government like Uruguay. There's no way to gather accurate data on this matter without involving this issue on pic related here Uruguay jumped from 13k to 20k in 10 years, and the latest data available for S. Brazil (São Paulo not included) is from 2013. I believe it's fairly accurate tbqh, considering Southern Brazilian industry and trading power.

São Paulo alone has a higher GDP and considerably higher PPP than Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. The main reason Rio de Janeiro and Paraná also fall within the "círculo de influência paulista" and benefit greatly from São Paulo's trading power.

Let's just just have one for each definition then

>Chile el Israel de Sudamérica
¿qué opinan de eso?

Uh hace mil años...

No sería Palestina?

...

Spanish sounds way better for music, it's a natural fit. German sounds too rough, and I ain't saying that just because they sent me gramps to the chambers.

Kinda gay either way

Where's Germany?

...

Germany is irrelevant.

Yeah, /lat/ back then used to be a circlejerk, but at least you could talk.

2 hilos por noche, no puedo +++++

I often see this debate regarding São Paulo and Southern Brazil, and how we're "taking São Paulo out of the category", and Paulistas come back saying "muh richest region in Latin America" argument, but that's not even the point. I do believe they belong to the Southern Cone, that's a fact, although they clearly aren't part of Southern Brazil for various reasons. Culture, ethnic identity and history being the main reasons imo. Even in S. Brazil we're culturally different to each other, let alone when compared to São Paulo.

Still, SP *is* part of the Southern Cone, just not Southern Brazil.

Who are you replying to?
Or was it paraphrasing "yeah"...

I don't post in generals 2bh, but /lat/ seems to be the worst of them all.
