Don't ask how I know this, but proxy companies own certain IP addresses and can spoof the country of the IP address. Good IP address detection systems can properly detect what country an IP originates from even if a proxy company is trying to show it as coming from another country, but Sup Forums has a pretty basic and dumbed down detection system.
