This thread is for the discussion of the language, culture, travel, daily life, etc. of Japan. Let's tark at randam in Japanese and English. Take it easy!
There are "Gaijin hunters" in Japan?! Women who go after foreign men because they seem exotic or because they want them as a status symbol? Or because they want a cute "half child"? I just read this in a random blog post and it said that even ugly men can easily find a girl like that in Japan! Japan, I'm sorry but I'll be stealing your womynz. (Please tell me this is true)

At least I noticed my mistake and corrected it. Most Japanese posters in this thread rarely do that.

Me and my best friend took our girlfriends for a double date to the movies, it was The Devil Wears Prada.
I was really nervous. About half an hour in I started snuggling with my girl, and then we both leant in and started kissing. It was a wet sloppy sensation and I was terrible at it at first, but it felt warm and lovely. Her skin was so soft and nice.
I remember when I got home I had a moist stain in my underpants from the precum. Good memories.

No offence. But it's possible that same guy was doing that, right?
The Taorilan poster is cancer of the Japanese thread. He knows his action would cause a thread war. He nestles down into his comfy sofa, laughs, enjoys how stupid we look when we have such a trivial quarrel.
Logan Edwards
It could be, but I doubt it for now.
Anthony Powell
Since it's late in Japan, let's talk about spooky things.
What are your favourite spooky things about Japan? Do you have a favourite monster from Japanese folklore? A favourite spooky place? Horror films that have had the greatest impression on you?
Aaron Bennett
Do British people still believe in ghosts?
William Perez
finally I'm home. the last train was crowded with people. Japan is shit.

Summer is a good season to talk about it in Japan . Do you know Yonimo-kimyouna-monogatari? It has a lot of scary, mysterious, weird and spooky storys

maybe that forest where everyone kills himself
personally I wouldn't want to commit suicide when people there do it all the time, it's sort of lame but when you are at this point you probably don't care about that anyway
Matthew Carter
Yes, lots of people do, depending on the source anywhere from 30-50% of the population (even higher if you count religious spirits as ghosts).
Would people laugh at you if you said you believed in ghosts in Japan?
Jordan Anderson
He is ... among us!
Nathan Perry
>lots of people do, depending on the source anywhere from 30-50% of the population I don't believe you
Gabriel Hill
>Would people laugh at you if you said you believed in ghosts in Japan? Yes, of course. It sounds like what a primitive caveman would say.
Julian Jackson
I haven't watched it before, is it worth seeing?
I've heard it compared to the Twilight Zone though, which is good because I really enjoyed the TV series of that, but also bad because most of the plot twists were really easy to spot.
>go to starbucks >a qt japanese girl sits next to you >she takes her sandals off to relax her bare feet and sits indian style >you reach over and tickle her exposed sole
How does she react
Dominic Rodriguez
>I don't believe you Why not? I would have thought that a belief in ghosts would be common in Germany too.
Yes some yokai are too ambiguous to differentiate.
Mason Harris
well this general retardation explains the Brexit then

i like Chamber of Horrors at Madame Tussauds in London. i also like Tower of London too.

>be me >at hong kong airport waiting for my flight to return Peru >all seats on the waiting lounge were full >Im tired so I sit on the floor near the window >a young cute 7/10 asian girl sits near me >I start to feel unconfortable >me thinking inside -she likes whites only- >I stand up and leave >her face was like- am I doing something wrong?
I really don't wanna believe in ghosts. At least not the way TV, films and video game show to us. If ghosts are invisible and can go wherever they like, which basically means they could peep into your room as you are trying to enrage your pinga.
>Chamber of Horrors at Madame Tussauds I've never been there, but I've seen pictures of it - every time I go by, there's a long queue there.
The Tower of London is pretty spoopy though. Old Castles with low ceilings and thick, stone walls are quite claustrophobic, which is good for creating spoopiness.
