>tfw you didn't wait
Why did I spend $400 on Vega 56 exactly?
Tfw you didn't wait
>tfw spent 800 on a 1080ti from a fury nitro
feels bad man, i really like these cards but i play literally nothing needing that much horsepower
>Nvidia releases the V100, a $20k 15+Tflop gpu for datacenters
>6 months later AMD releases a 15+Tflop gpu for 1/8 of the price
I was happy on my RX 560, I just finally found Vega in stock and wanted to play with it. Really high end cards are a meme desu. Doesn't really improve my gaming experience much at all, probably going to sell it.
how many more days till magic?
Whenever the 18.0.0 driver is released and fully enables vega's features.
>Buying a chip with unfinished software
kekkers
Probably replacing my 970 meme card with Navi. This was the last time I bought a Nvidia card.
3.5
Love how in the next round they replace it with an actual 3GB card that will force people to upgrade who are stupid enough to buy it.
...
I spent $400 on strix 1070.
it's alright
october 26 to november 15
when nvidia releases their 1070ti
>expecting to get the next toptier mining card for retail price
I gave up and upgraded from 390 to 1070, too many games this year that would murder 390 at 1440.
Good goyim, now we can release the next gen for those inflated prices since people keep buying them anyway
games>hardware
have to sacrifice something
7LP needs to enter HVM first.
amd already confirmed that a vega refresh will come before navi
>partner Vega
>Zen Refresh
>Vega Refresh
>then Navi or Zen2
Don't forget actually working software for Vega.
The train never stops.
navi is a mid-end card. meant to replace rx 5-- series
That's Vega11.
Navi is different uArch.
