Fortune is another option if you're jailbroken/have a resigner, but The Chan's interface is a bit nicer and it's a lot more stable (as in never crashes, vs. Fortune which crashed all the time for me on iOS 10). Also Fortune accesses the phone's photo gallery in some old/deprecated way that works like shit.

Only thing I miss from Fortune is being able to highlight/copy text.

Never done it myself (use The Chan as said) but I believe if you have VLC installed you can forward webm links to that.

The ONLY problem with iphones / ipads / safari is that they don't support webMs for whatever reason. I don't get why they don't fix that, but that is the only problem otherwise it browses the 'chon just as good as any other device.
