I am looking for a new unibersity backpack, cause im getting tired of my old poverty backpack.
What bags does Sup Forums use to carry their tech?
I like the look of this nike bag.

that bag looks so fucking uncomfortable.
Jansport and other brands offer lifetime warranties, have good-looking models, and are much more comfortable to carry more than a single pair of socks like that shitty nike bag you just posted.
I see, jansports prices are quite high tho, but extra comfort sounds great. Is it the best price/performance brand? Im lost in this area, never owned a quality backpack and most results google gives on backpack topics are shill articles.
Jansport classic
Put your laptop in a sleeve
Don't be a bitch
Look into two brands: Jansport and Swissgear.
There are probably others, and I can certainly recommend different bags for hiking etc, but those two brands are the only ones I can recommend from my experience carrying daily shit.
LL Bean Super Deluxe
What I value most in backpacks is zipper quality and space. If the zipper ever gets caught up the bag is dead to me. LLB SD's have lots of space, good zippers, and I can get them replaced for free whenever I want.
i just use a messenger bag
enjoy your fucked up posture
u know how i know youre gay?
oh no i'll carry 1.5kg on my shoulder
RIP Your shoulder
why do you need a bag to carry that few things?
backpacks are for children
I'm using this right now, it's pretty nice with a 15" laptop, a dslr, some cables and various stuff
poorfags using chink backpacks made for 20 cts and sold 120 bucks and not leather apparel.
ITT: my sides
cant hold laptop in hand
I use a messenger bag as well. It's retarded to wear a backpack with a sportcoat. It's not gonna do shit to my shoulder because a) I lift weights and keep my physical condition in check and b) I only carry an x220, a notebook, some documents and sometimes a charger.
>meme skaterboi bag
I use north face jester. Works great.
i used to skate a lot when i was younger, so probably it's nostalgia that hit sometimes
I use this for uni with a laptop sleeve. It lacks compartments but I don't bring my laptop to class most of the time or carry much tech to begin with because I don't want to be nigged.
that's not how bones and muscles work user
>wearing messenger bags when you're not on a bicycle 99% of the time
Was going for,a Jansport but poverty tier forced me to rely on financial aid for a bag, the ones they had at the campus store were too small or complete shit. I settled for this one. Its nice.
>not going full poverty
I sewed my broken zipper track shut using electrical wires from the EE labs.
>tfw dont carry much to work
>just a book, portable battery, earbud pouch
>oh and a fucking huge as fuck tupperware because i poor
I could just use a small messenger bag but fuck, i need a good waterproof backpack for my smelly tupperware
What do you guys think of the Bobby backpack?
xd-design.com
I think it looks autistic and I don't like how it has no side handle or bottle holder net, but I really like how it's impossible to gain access to the pockets without you noticing, and the resulting peace of mind of being able to commute without worrying about thieves.
Does anyone of you have it?
Would you recommend it?
>almost $100 bucks just for placebo
wew
user, if you get jumped all those trinkets and shit in the bag would mean nothing.
Look up amazon. That thing costs about 30$, it's chink shit
>Seatbelts are just placebo because if you get hit by a train you'll still die
This is how retarded you sound like.
Since you're very stupid, I'll assume you can't comprehend simple analogies, so I'll explain it to you in very simple and practical terms.
Regular backpack:
>Risk of getting robbed
>Risk of getting pickpocketed
Anti-theft backpack:
>Risk of getting robbed
>Virtually no risk of getting pickpocketed
Since for a normal person with common sense it's much more unlikely to get jumped than to be pickpocketed on a commute or at any time of the day, a backpack like this removes almost all changes of theft (since most of them were of getting pickpocketed and not getting jumped), and even if you somehow frequently find yourself in situations where you're likely to get robbed and jumped, at least now that's the only way they can steal your stuff, so you're still much better off because by removing the possibilty of being pickpocketed you only have to worry about being robbed (instead of worrying about both).
You're looking at chinese copies. Of course if you buy those you're getting /csg/.
Here's the original:

Osprey Quasar is the only proper way, user.
Amazon Basics 17inch laptop backpack.
I've had mine since March and it still looks brand new. I use it every work day and it gets the job done.
Tons of space. Sturdy design, and the zippers are super smooth and don't snag at all.
$29.99
fag
Youre not poor, right user?
That thing is ugly as fuck.
tactical tailor urban, US made and only cost me $100
Thule
The dream backpack
thinking about getting one for my T430 and all my shiet
dunno about the capacity in it tho
and dunno if I take a rip off or the real one at 90€
From the video reviews on Youtube it doesn't seem very big, so if you have a lot of stuff to carry around don't get it.
Watch a couple to get an idea.
Not even Klättermusen
laughingGirls.jpg
Same, inb4 insecure anons who probably are probably obese and listen to metal/dad rock.
what's the name of the backpack?
With that "shell" shape if you get a knockoff it won't hold and it will look like shit (on top of breaking more easily).
i use a northface day bag, i am not sure of the model but it's got a pocket for everything, definitely great for uni and will keep you organized
> actual bag
everything fit and I think it's kind of the same space as the bobby en tho it shows way less liter for the bobby than the eastpak
no pocket at all inside only empty space so.. not that good for a laptop + other things
What is that? It looks great.
This. Been using it for years.
Maybe it's because I'm ESL, but I don't understand what you're trying to say here user.
Hondo welterweight 110$
Reverse image search and you will find it, don't be lazy. Took me less than 2 minutes.
WTF its a fuckin backpack, just buy one
>What bags does Sup Forums use to carry their tech?
In college, I used some Targus bag designed to carry around a laptop. The Compaq I had was so poorly designed that it fell apart regardless of how I pampered it.
Today, I use a messenger bag since I don't carry much other than commuting essentials and may be the occasional 3DS or Vita.
I think the ogio renegade rss is one of the best backpacks on the market. Good laptop protection, tablet protection, hard case at the top for smart phones/sunglassss/etc. More pockets than anyone will ever need. It isn't cheap though, about 150 on Amazon
Osprey stratos 24.
Then again, I also do a ton of camping and hiking so it's one of those things where I'll get back on a Sunday night from being in the mountains, empty my pack, shower, and stick all my stuff for class in it.
I'm using the Thule EnRoute Triumph 2. It's high quality and has tons of padding for your laptop and tablet.
Glad you said it.
Nearly any amount of weight difference will cause posture issues. Medieval archers firing a 40lbs draw longbow ended up with a HUGE difference between their shoulders, and you don't shoot with your shoulders. It was literally just from having one arm bent and one arm straight.
go back to /fa/g
this image makes me uncomfortable
Buy hp odyssey its cheap and good
gay bag,
I bought this 36L mil-tec assault pack. But instead of going full tacticool autism mode I got it in blue instead of olive, black or camo.
I do intend to travel with it, rather than just moving a laptop around.
I use a plastic bag from the supermarket
The messenger bag isn't going to give you problems unless you attempt to pack it with 70lbs worth of stuff. Even then, you're well outside the standard usage parameters of the thing. I don't get why anyone would want to use a messenger bag in college when you have actual text books to lug around.
5.11 rush 12
Please don't stick velcro american flag to it
i don't know anyone who lugs around textbooks
Hey, I bought it from AliExpress for 60 bucks with some coupons. I can post some photos if anyone want.
I got a backpack off aliexpress from Tigernu and I really like it.
Kek. It's all bullshit. Nothing is "cut proof" that can be made into a reasonably priced pack. Guaranteed I could take a well sharpened Benchmade 940 to it and cut it open. Just because a dollar store utility knife isn't going to cut through it doesn't mean a good steel with a decent edge can't. The type of people that will steal from you by cutting your bag will take one look at it and know that you're a perfect target because you'll be falsely secure and fill it with valuable shit. And they'll likely be right. Not to mention they've probably already researched all of the "cut proof" bags and knock offs to learn their weakest points because relieving people of their belongings is how those scumbags survive.
Just like how crackers research all of the newest technology meant to keep them out so that they can find the best possible attack vector, thieves and pickpockets do the same exact thing. You can bet they probably outright steal the whole bag the first time they encounter one in the wild and poke at that mother fucker from every possible angle until they find a weakness to exploit.
It's a placebo. Literally the best way not to have your valuables stolen is to not carry them in a bag, especially one that screams "I'm afraid someone is going to steal my shit". When I used to do B&Es in my youth, do you know who I targeted first? Whoever had the most fancy ass alarm system on a given block. That told me two things: they believed they had something worth stealing, and that they believed fancy electronics would keep me out. The thing about the big, expensive systems is that they tend to be popular, which means there tends to be mountains of documentation on them, spec sheets, exploded views of boards, service manuals, etc and there are forums full of people that like to find exploits in that shit for fun.
So go ahead. Enjoy the placebo.
I think it's hilarious to read this on Sup Forums of all places, where most people here sit down for 12+ hours a day, have horrible sitting posture and develop pelvic tilt and huge imbalances and weaknesses in musculature. There is no arguing that a two strap backpack is much more ergonomical, but a leather messenger bag / briefcase is much more suited for a business environment.
Good luck cutting through kevlar
I had Chinese copy of that and I didn't really like design.
The same argument as before.
Just because it's not secure against the worst of the worst it doesn't mean it's not better than regular backpacks.
Also, the usual pickpocketer is not some Sherlock Holmes mastermind that researches each backpack to find weaknesses in each model.
I grew up in a "bad neighborhood" and all the people who'd steal from a backpack are the kind of people who can barely read, let alone do what you're talking about. At least where I live.
The only criminals who'd put that much effort into finding systems to crack open all those safety systems aren't going to waste time stealing from backpacks. They're obviously going to be involved in much more lucrative and less risky fields (B&E being one of them).
Also this is pretty much a non-issue, since the whole point of the backpack is to prevent people from stealing without me noticing (like opening a zipper), and no matter the blade, they won't be able to cut it without causing a lot of movement and noise, which would make their attempts immediately apparent.
The gypsies and niggers who go around stealing from backpacks are definitely not going to research this shit like some lockpicking nerd on youtube.
The likelihood of finding one that does are so small that the advantage from being protected against someone opening your zippers when you're on the train is much bigger than that of signaling that you have something valuable to the extremely rare thief who knows that this particular backpack is made to be anti-theft, and thinks it's a better target than the thousands of other visibly expensive laptop and camera bags that aren't anti-theft.
It literally has no significant cons, and only pros, and you're saying it's shit just because it doesn't protect against some extremely rare occurrence that you're likely to never find in real life, as opposed to someone opening the zippers and stealing shit, which is FAR more likely, and this backpack protects you against.
>Literally the best way not to have your valuables stolen is to not carry them in a bag
How are you going to carry valuable items?
Have an armoured vehicle deliver them from your house to your school/job and back?
This one looks perfect, but the price in Demnark is too high for me.
I like the price, looks comfortable and the looks are acceptable.
Right now it looks like I will be going for this one.
Will sleep on this and decide tomorrow.
I got this: amazon.com
It's pretty nice as it has tons of pockets and organizational things.
blyad
This made me laugh more than it should have.
Go full /fa/ + Sup Forums and buy Fjallraven, North Face, or Herschel
This is probably the best laptop bag I ever owned.
