I like the Silverstone case I used to have a Raven 2.
Thanks man it's pretty nice. Would love to grab a raven 2 but they're hard to come by these days

would remove the dust but >muh uptime
hello friends
i do not a picture of my computer so i supply a high quality graphical representation
R8 my guts pls
This is an old picture, but the only difference between this and now, is I replaced the fan on the CPU cooler with another 120mm Cougar fan.

That's actually a good score on Sup Forums.
nice upside down gpu logo
also wheres the screw in the upper right for the waterblock on the left
>nice upside down gpu logo
powercolor is just like that for some reason
>also wheres the screw in the upper right for the waterblock on the left
sheared off because corsair uses extremely low grade chinese pot metal for their fasteners

nigga you probably don't need a fusion reactor in your computer
allahu akbar
Xeon E5472
6GB DDR2 OCZ
Gigabyte P43 DS3L
Gigabyte GTX 960
Cooler Mater Hyper T4
Silencium PC RG4T
except minor changes, currents guts here
Old, cheap, just werks
$30 case was better than I thought it'd be.
Probably gonna snip the LEDs off later or just outright replace them.
I actually really like this one. I'm building my brother a Ryzen rig. Got the 1600 and an X370 board, whereas you have the 1700 and the B350. How's it run with your configuration? Also, how's that meshify C treating you? I was considering that case after seeing it around lately.
Did you oc it to 4ghz?
RAM is too flaky to do any overclocking, unfortunately.
I have however an Asus P5Q Deluxe lying around, but only 4GB DDR3, and I don't think it's worth buying any now since I'm planning on upgrading to ryzen

first pc build after i finished with all the cable management
...
Everything works great and I haven't had any issues (bought Ryzen on launch day). It handles everything I throw at it, whether it is H.265 encoding, extreme MEGA TASKING and video games on a high refresh rate monitor.
As for the Meshify C, it's extremely well built. Thick metal used for the construction of the frame. I love how short and compact it is.
I have the Fractal Design R4 and R5 for my other computers and yeah, the Meshify C has an open front panel so more sound is going to escape. But on the other hand, I lowered my temperatures by a few degrees celsius while also lowering the fan speeds of my case fans, compared to both of the aforementioned cases which previously housed the same guts. It obviously depends on how loud the components are aswell.
My dual tower brother.
I sold my ECC Ram, put the old sticks in and got a new powersupply. The setup of 5 ecc sticks and one regular @ 22 GB of capacity was just to stupid to keep.
No OC on the Xeon.
> Fan just standing on top of the GPU
> Heatsinks sticked onto the back of the GPU
What the fuck man?
What's that thing in the top x16 slot? some kind of multi-port network card? what do you use it for?
HP N364T
its pretty much a switch for my other devices in the room, so i only have one cable going to the router.
Why is that molex flopping on gpu?
additional crap from the blue fan above; didnt bother with cutting it of and putting shrink tube on, yet
You're a retard who cant even install RAM properly. You see how the memory slots are different colors? They're that way for a reason. Your processor supports triple channel memory, but because you're a retard who cant even install it properly its running in a single channel configuration right now, so you have 1/3rd the memory bandwidth you should have.
bitch pleas, i forgot to install the fourth stick for the picture. slot 1,2,4,6 (left to right) are used right now.
You are too stupid to read the speccy, It clearly says triple channel 8 Gb
>bitch pleas, i forgot to install the fourth stick for the picture.
It would be at best a dual channel configuration then, although I wouldnt be surprised if you fucked it up and managed to still make it single channel as well.
>You are too stupid to read the speccy, It clearly says triple channel 8 Gb
It is capable of triple channel, it isnt running that way you retard.
oh common
your manual is factually false and you're a retard for posting it. please explain how the fuck it would be 3 way striped with 4x or 5x modules.
it's my fault for overlooking the stick,ok ,but speccy would say its running in dual channel if it were running that way.
And now your are pretending to know better than MSI themselves, just fuck off imbecile.
>i still can't explain how I would achieve a 3 way stripe with 4 or 5 modules
stay eternally blow the fuck out
why would i run willingly run 6 gb of ram when i regularly hit 8 gb of usage.
>but speccy would say its running in dual channel if it were running that way.
And pic related so you suffer some more ass pain. A single module in the computer and specy reports it is dual channel. Why? Because as I said, it just reports what the CPU is capable of.
What you should have done is just buy more memory or stuck with what you had before you retard. Your memory is literally dirt cheap. Those are 2GB modules which you can find in the trash. Instead you wasted your money on meme memory with heatsinks even though they're not quad ranked LRDIMMs shoved in to a 1U chassis.
I'm not throwing away money right now for 2gb sticks when i'm planning to fill up all slots with 4gb dimm that i dont own yet. I got those 8gb of ram for free 8 years ago.
Look i'm thankful for clearing up that my mobo is in fact not running in triple channel, but now you are just raging for nothing. The manual clearly says for "best perfomance", arguably having 8 gb of ram is a better performance than having 6 gb in triple channel. Thats what i wanted and what i did.
it shows 2 sticks lmao
i take that back. I was completly right with my assumption that speccy would show whether or not im in triple channel mode.
Just to be sure and to not believe blindly in someone i checked it myself and ripped the 4th stick just like in my first picture
The msi x58 Pro is posting in triple channel as the picture shows
You dont even know what you are talking about so how can you ask me to explain how odd numbers of ram sticks can be striped together to be triple channel. How am i supposed to know, ask Intel about their Flex memory solution, i didnt study this and more importantly neither did you.
Anecdotally i found this Source talking about Flex memory in relation to uneven sizes of ram and Dual channel mode.
avadirect.com
It is absolutely ridiculous that somebody sitting in a glasshouse is throwing with stones and calls me retarded.
Atleast i work to prove my points and you find a picture of a system running dual channel with two sticks of ram and want to tell me its a single dimm.
also take not of how 6 gb consisting of 3x 2gb Ram in Slot 1,2 and 4 are running in dual channel
On a lighter note: I realized my 1333 mhz ram was running on 1066 mhz so thank you very much
...
yes
What do you use this computer for?
video editing maybe?
just a general workstation, nothing special
>VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO
Whats that?
so I can record different audio channels independently in OBS
looks neat. Gonna look into that for myself
it's a bit confusing to set up but worth it
if I ever bother to record things I don't have to worry about random audio getting mixed in
the blue fan is to cool the vrm's (my mobo is crap) its not in pic but the vent is attached with wires to the case and water snake. the little heatsinks are for better cooling. not in pic but i stucked the heatsinks also on the vrm's
I need a cheap 2600k to hold me over.
send help.
Looks great, especially when all 5.25" bays are full
>RGB
faggot
Lmao current setup i am getting a new case
Installed the FTW3 hybrid kit, works great. I'll probably wait for hybrid versions of cards down the road, it just works so well and keeps the noise down.
Not sure if I'll change my case when I get an 8700k. I'm not super happy with some of the things with the Corsair 570x but it looks nice.
>Decent watercooling on the cpu
>[probably] trash gpu
What happend here?
Isn't the res of the gpu supposed to be rotated 180° so the airbubbles get trapped in the tankbulge there? Probably works fine anyways
Maybe, I was under the impression that as long as the pump is below the rad you're good.
Might be more quiet, but if its fine now there is no reason to change. It would make it look worse, too.
I might mess with the orientation this weekend, to see if it makes the pump any quieter. Not that its loud, can barely hear it.
dual 240mm rad in a node 804
cooling a single fury for now
The wide softtubing looks really nice.
Is that a sound card under the gpu?
rotate yer fucking fans , its 4 screws (not the ones that connect to the mobo, the ones on the fan itself) and its generic 80mm fan spacing
it looks SO MUCH BETTER
That is a mini-PCIE to PCIE 4x for my 960 EVO. The motherboard is a Z97 chipset so while it does support an NVMe drive, it only runs at 2x.
umm
He already ded, never to be seen again.
I love both of those coolers. You don't see many third party heat sinks for GPU's anymore which is a bummer. Artic's recent innovations with the supportbrace and backside vrm heatsinks were very cool. Thermalright has released a slim, compact, manlet version of your cpu heatsink recently. I want one really bad as it is everything I wanted in a compact tower.
Shit's at my feet high, as I don't look at it I don't really care
I'm going to replace it soon enough for muh 3.8-.9 Ghz at lower temps
>Shit's at my feet high
Height, sry
I need to get some cable combs or velcro straps for the white PCI-E and motherboard cables sometime. Been kinda lazy on that.
...
wow
has an i5 750 overclocked to 3.7 ghz along with a 1060 6 gb
will be replacing the mobo / processor etc soon and will then fix the cable management hell
back to /r/eddit

specs?
Put this together for someone:
i5 2400
8GB Ram
GTX 760
500GB SSD
Just wondering.
But are the Fractal cases the quietest cases you can get?
I'm going to do a new build when Volta comes out and want to do some pre-planning now.
I'm going to try to make as silent a pc as possbile since I'm currently building an audio system
drank a half abottle of jager
the thicc one
whats up boys,captchas are hard
Grab one if you can, this thing is incredible for what I paid for it. Got a 1600 at 3.9 with 1.355v at 68c load ibt for 2 hours. Not bad for 40 bucks
