There are people who unironically game on linux

>there are people who unironically game on linux

That's me

I play xenonauts and shadowrun

Me, I just paly CS:GO

Pretty much most of my games work on linux so I don't see whats the issue

Same

Tux racer is the best game ever made.

>>there are people who unironically game

>have wine-staging installed just for good old fallback osu!
>play other games natively
>get modern games (like Devil Daggers) from Steam and play them natively as well

I don't see much point in running windows nowadays.

KSP nigga

The only games I ever play are from Valve, so yeah me too bretty much.

CSGO and XCOM both work great so why shouldn't I?

I play both Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape.

Nobody bothered to check these digits, so I will.

With RetroArch and DOSbox for the games I played growing up, and about 90% of the games I own on Steam working native there's very little reason for me to not game exclusively on Linux.

>there are people who unironically use wandows
If it's not on Linux, it's not worth buying.

I really liked wesnoth back in the day

>Tux racer is the best piece of computer software ever made

FTFY

>there are people who unironically post the same shit every day
checked

NO TUX NO BUX

I was playing csgo two days ago on Ubuntu with fuzion and I got banned

Xonotic, TFC, teeworlds and hatari are the only things I play

>tfw Rise of the Tomb Raider was 12 bucks in the humble monthly bundle
>tfw NO TUX NO BUX
>tfw its Windows port will be released soon
>tfw I will pay more than 12 bucks for this
>tfw it feels good supporting Linux ports

>what's wrong with tux racer?

I only use my Windows partition when a game isn't supported on Linux/doesn't work in Wine

Play Sup Forumsscape lad

>osu
Literally spyware: the game.

Gaming is for cucks, It's a waste of time you could be finding a wife and supporting your nation

>linux doesn't have games

1) Is it true you can't turn off mouse acceleration easily on Linux?

2) Is it cross-play with Windows users?

) Is it cross-play with Windows users?
you're a real kind of special

Why is that a bad question?

Name 1 (one) video game that is worth playing other than Age of Empires II

Why the fuck would valve split linux and windows clients? That would be harder to do than just having them all connect to the same servers.

Katawa Shoujo

In what scenario have Linux and Windows users been seperated server wise?

There's no point in doing it. Crossplay is barely even used anyways, since PC blows the fuck out of console players in near every genre.

Well, what is that game in the image then?

Fuck you op! People like you are pushing me to the brink of installing Steam on Linux to avoid using that piece of crap Windows and blow niggars like you the fuck out. I was doing just fine upholding my libertarian interpretation of software freedom until faggots like you.

I don't play Counter-Strike but. . .
1) I never felt mouse acceleration in Linux but then again I'm a i3 user. Might depend on what desktop environment you're using.

2) It's not like consoles. If the game runs on the operating system you will be able to play with other people running the game. That goes for Mac users too. t. was a Mac User a long time ago

>title screen of the game purporting the games title
>WHATS THE NAME OF THAT GAME???

hmm i wonder

Building gentoo for a gaming machine right now actually

I don't speak gook and the only text that looks like English is covered up, so again, what is it?

xset m 0 0
No acceleration then unless you are using some shit mouse with it built in

Way easier to turn off in Linux than windows, where the settings lie to you

Fresh off the boat from reddit kid?

>I don't speak gook
>the name is in perfect english
okay, retard-kun, here you go

nice

fight my champion

Blender monkey, I choose you!

Truth

I'll spoonfeed you senpai

It's called boku no pico, it's a visual novel, which is why it has "VN GAME" on the front

Dota 2 on linux not bad

How the fuck do I get OpenGL >3.3 on Linux?

Try googling it.

Where is tux racer general?

tfw no one mentions urban terror

1) xinput lets you configure everything. highly suggest playing around with it

>Gnome
Set mouse acceleration profile to flat in tweak tool

>XFCE
>Open mouse settings
>Move acceleration slider to 0

And?
There are a lot of games on Linux, even some regular AAA games get official ports.

>tfw blizzdrone
>only games I play mostly are their games
>no gnu+linux port, NEVER EVER

A lot of my steam games work in ubuntu, That,s so cool. Especially the horror games

Pretty much all the blizz games work perfectly in WINE except for overmeme which runs but still needs a bit of work.

Overwatch runs like shit desu, it's the only thing keeping my windows alive

>Is it true you can't turn off mouse acceleration easily on Linux?
No.

>Is it cross-play with Windows users?
Of course.

For now. Also fuck you overmeme.

xenonauts is a pretty shitty game
soldiers can't aim at enemies directly in front of them
the stun bat is literally the best weapon until you get laser weapons

Same. Game runs much better on Linux but the brightness slider doesn't work lol

many GOG games work fine such as Deus Ex very 2.something

This. Valve is making great games.
also i make my own games

Yes people spend leisure time doing fun and amusing...dare I say it...leisurely things.

Yeah huge news I know...stop the fucking presses and all.

>almost all of autism games on steam have Linux versions
>the few without like spengi run like crap on windows too
>same with weeb games
There is no good reason to stay on windows anymore.

it can be quite annoying to get acceleration turned off with evdev (default input driver), switch to libinput and use a flat acceleration profile to get perfect 0 acceleration.

Blizzard has always been a dick with linux. Every other game I want to play runs fine though

tfw when it's old, outdated, full of cheaters, removed the fun maps and proprietary
[dicpic_here.png]

>the few without like spengi run like crap on windows too
This. Fuck you, Bethesda.

>tfw my computer is too old to support SuperTuxKart

so?

...

There's actually a mobile version coming out soon, it's a nice throwback to my childhood and it's kind of interesting thinking how it barely ran in a full fledged computer back in the day.

>there are cia niggers who don't use TOS

...

>SuperTuxKart
>network/online multiplayer is STILL being worked on

>Falling for obvious bait

Xenonauts is what XCOM 2012 should have been.

>>there are people who unironically game on linux
Probably not, but don't talk about it or you'll hurt the feelings of Tux.... or some shit like that..

>XCOM 2012
i completely missed that one, i had to look it up just now, not surprised i missed it, as they named it exactly the same as the original
why do they do that? do they not realize there are people who'll skip right over it thinking they've played it before?

???

>do they not realize there are people who'll skip right over it thinking they've played it before?

I don't think people who played the 1993 XCOM were really the target audience... and half of them knew it as UFO: Enemy Unknown.
Anyway, it was pretty hard to miss regardless, unless you're completely autistic. It's pretty hard to misunderstand headlines like "Firaxis developing XCOM remake."

i don't read gaming news sites
