This is a totally useless feature, since you can long-press already (without the special hardware) with much more accuracy/reliability.

Almost all those "3d touch" menus are available on non-3d-touch devices, except it actually works better on them.

Pretty fucking awesome to pull up menus by hard pressing the screen. So convenient. I still find myself hard pressing the screen on my LG G6 expecting a menu to pull up before I remember that it doesn't have that feature

I'm still wondering why anyone upgrades phones anymore. All of them have been great since 2014-2015...if anything you've LOST features since then.

Only thing we've gotten was faster cpu and gpu but its not like any apps take advantage of it. I can maybe see getting a moto z or z2 for mods and controller...but other than that the last 2 years of mobile have been one big shit show.

Guess ill be rocking my v10 for another year or 2 then or until it breaks which doesn't seem likely.

What makes it annoying? It offers extra functionality without getting in the way, unless you naturally press your screen very hard. It allows you to bring up contextual menus, preview links/documents/mails without having to actually open them and more.

If can actually afford it, you won't be shitposting about it here.
