protegent

Avast and MBAM work together? I think I had some issues with them, both on with real time protection that is.

>antivirus
You mean Linux?

Hello Ivan

Do those key websites still exist for ESET?

Malwarebytes Techbench now and then

Protegentoo

CommonSense.bat

yes. just search Nod32 serial license key facebook.

open facebook link and copy serial from the comments.

I use them both on all three comps in the house. Avast for real time stuff and mbam for on demand scans.

Never had them them conflict over anything yet. This is also alongside Comodo firewall without Comodo's shitty antivirus.

Common Sense

Yeah, fine if MBAM is just for on demand scans, no place to conflict.

>Israel hacked Kaspersky
>"they're the bad guyz!!!"

>tfw not brainlet and use this antivirus too

I've never experienced conflicts with antiviruses. What one has covered the other wants you to pay for.

If your head isn't in your ass, a single antivirus is fine. Also, these days a decent browser will do half the work for you by blocking bad domains and files.

>Using Botnet Sense
Lmao@urlife

That's a cute Caca

>a single antivirus is fine
I'm well aware, but MBAM was originally just anti-malware and they themselves recommended using an antivirus next to them. Not the case anymore though.

What do you recommend to normies when they ask for an antivirus? My usual recommendation was MBAM but that shit's too annoying now.
Avira? Bitdefender?

Can't blame them for covering their asses. Since they specialize in anti malware/ransomware.
Avast, AVG and Avira are pretty normie friendly. Avast even talks to you unless you turn the shit off.

>Avast even talks to you
That's exactly what I want to avoid. Something free that works on the background and doesn't bug you at all

Avast because it shows a pop-up box about people being able to see what I do online when I go to Sup Forums.

>Avast
Once you configure the free version it to your liking it only bothers you with the occasional corner screen popup ad. Pretty standard stuff for any free security software.

windows defender + common sense

Avast is a botnet + it doesn't follow basic security standards, e.g. it's detriminal to overall security if one uses common sense. It MITM's browsers and injects its shitty code everywhere.

I'm just using comodo's firewall

enjoy your bloated placebo

WTF, you dont need an anti-virus?

ESET 32 10 + uBlock Origin + HTTPS Everywhere

Rate me.

I use Mcafee©

AVG

Kaspersky AV

>pirating an antivirus

iptable

...

ublock origin

You seem like the type that never uses a condom.

>not using a free av
>>using an av
>>>not using linux
>>>>not compiling your own kernel
>>>>>not programming your own OS
What's wrong with pirating an AV ? Unless one is dumb enough to get infected by a fake (((AV crack))) then it's completely fine. But WD is enough anyway and it's free.

mbam

Always had the guy wear a condom. I won't take any protective measures (;

I only have sex in the missionary position for the means of procreation, so of course I don't use a condom

>CommonSense
>Common Sense
>windows defender + common sense

idiots like you don't have "common sense." They're just some poor idiots trying to get attention, you serial assholes.

I own a Mac

ublock origin and updated linux

>viruses in 2017

You must torrent and visit shady porn sites

I torrent, a lot, and must go to shady porn sites as my fetish is bdsm, not normie shit like blacked content. Still no viruses (;

>updated linux
As if anyone bothers to write viruses for linux.

kek
you're either a NEET Sup Forumsentooman, in which case please go find yourself an appropriate thread
or a fucking pajeet that thinks he needs to have the whole virustotal cucksquad installed on his computer while he procrastinates and eats curry
>>Sup Forums

I use GNU/Linux ...

I'm catholic, so no.
Father of six here :)

>viruses in 2017
you probably already have your computer backdoored ten times over if you think that this is impossible or unlikely

Manjaro Antivirus

ESET

Kaspersky detects NSA spyware.
Department of "Homeland Security" bans Kaspersky.
Sheeple eat it up and unironically believe the Russians are going to hack them.

Zonealarm

>windows defender + common sense™
Basically this. I also use a VM windows at home so I don't have to give a shit.

>unironically using 1man1jaro

The Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.

>(You)

why not? it's awesome. i installed it and it just werks

One of my four computers uses Windows so I guess that's what you meant.

>uBlock Origin for web browsing
>USB Disk Security when I want to prevent anything being executed but I don't want to delete the virus from another's flash drive
>TinyWall for preventing access to the internet unless I allow, and I don't trust Windows' native firewall

Yeah, what's wrong with Arch Linux: Stable Edition?

Unironically this.

Posted from my MacBook Pro Retina 15"

Having Kaspersky mainly for the Firewall, and it comes with an Antivirus so who gives?
I just don't trust the Microsoft Firewall.

>and I don't trust Windows' native firewall
Tinywall just adds rules to Windows firewall if I recall correctly. You could achieve the same results without Tinywall but at least it makes adding rules easier.

Is it? I didn't know that much since I just wanted something that werks before.
Do you have any firewall recommendation that has uMatrix-like functionality?

No, I've only used Tinywall. There's nothing wrong with Windows firewall, it does a fine job.

I don't get what do you mean by uMatrix like functionality related to firewalls

Windows Defender and uBlock.

Linux = 0 virus ?

...

Get out

Every OS is virus free if you're not a fucking retard

Why?

Tits or btfo

Only because it's available with Sophos UTM which I use for my router.

Would rather switch to Linux but I'm waiting for Vega kernel support to be available in OpenSUSE.

Apparently using an AV probably opens you up to being hacked, old L0pht member mentions it in this presentation: youtube.com/watch?v=Czf24RXIAAw

Bruh

I don't want to

Wanting to be a woman doesn't make you a woman, user.

>implying I torrent anything more then .mkv files.

Kasperky and Bitdefender Free Edition

I go on some shady websites that require me to disable adblockers and run JavaScript.

There are some malvertisers that exploit JavaScript in my web browser and kasperky and bitdefender kinda stop that.

I block ads and domains on my firewall. I also use ublock origin and umatrix. Plus Common Sense(tm)

Common sense...

pfSense, my man!

Where is yo firewall

The OpenBSD Kernel.

If you torrent executables you're a brainlet to begin with and deserve to get viruses / pugs

Either that, or you're above 60 years old

Oh my god xD

Eh why don't download exeuctables ?

>tfw wintards need a bloated piece of shit bc viruses

BitDefender Total Security.

Because you can't know whats inside an executable without comparing checksums against the real executable... which you don't have.

And since the majority of software that's torrented is torrented BECAUSE it's proprietary, you almost certainly do not have any way to compile it.

The best you can do is check if the size of the executable looks sketchy.

(HMMMM.... wonder why it's only 50 KB yet it's supposed to be a game...)

CommonSense 2017 R2
