Thank god this thread is so much better than the last one, which was full of retarded r/pcmasterrace humour about frames per second and consoles. That was literally the worst thread I've ever seen on Sup Forums.

Basically Intel created a new CPU that was socket compatible with the current socket that everyone had.
Then they decided that they wanted more money, but they had already produced the CPU so they couldn't change the socket, so instead they soldered on a new socket onto the already existent socket and claimed that "Due to super important and very technical reasons you will have to buy a new motherboard to use this new, superior and totally socket-incompatible CPU of ours".

Basically fast_loop() randomly shuffles the array until it passes the test in is_sorted(). There's no sorting algorithm as such - it relies on the shuffle returning a sorted array by chance.

It is a Bogosort. Essentially it checks to see if the array is sorted and if it's not then it randomly shuffles and runs the check again. It has a big O of infinity. The joke is its called "fast_sort" implying speed.

That is a pretty funny algorithm.

I live in a city where SAP has one of its bigger offices, not far removed from their head office. Everyone from basically any walk of life here knows at least 3 different people who have worked at / with SAP. It is the dream of many people to get into a solid job there where they can render their job description more and more abstract until they ultimately do nothing at all and go unnoticed.

First, desoldering would be at best a nightmare, and resoldering even worse.
Second, the interposer (PCB, and pinout) is probably the same across all 3 gens of Skylake, so no it wouldn't work anyway.
