mine is working fine atm.
let me restart and report back.

Just installed that and didn't have any problems :^)

NUTELLA!

>mandatory updates are a good idea
kek

still fine.

Should I disconnect my laptop and back it up before this hits?

>Easily 100 million machines have been updated yesterday.
>a handful of users reporting errors
>LOL WINDOZE SUCKS!!!!

Let me see the same scenario with Ubuntu or very other distro ant then we'll talk, assholes.

> "Systems with support enabled for USB Type-C Connector System Software Interface (UCSI) may experience a blue screen or stop responding with a black screen when a system shutdown is initiated."
> mandatory update

Ubuntu doesn't force updates

POO

Almost every attempt to upgrade Ubuntu failed, even on ther devices.
Meanwhile Windows 10 did all Upgrades with no issues.
As much as I shitpost on Windows 10 here, it's actually the most stable OS I've used so far.

*poops in your PC*

you need to be connected to the internet to update user.

im using ltsb, so fuck off

This is a good point, however, security patches are important and the user needs to install them one day or another and chances of them breaking are basically the same. It's just a bad luck. AFAIK Microsoft is full of pajeets and enforces unreasonable deadlines on them so they don't even have the time to check their code for typos and errors, so then this shit happens. This can happen on any OS that receives updates.
So just backup your important stuff and you're fine. I've installed this update yesterday on my desktop and it's working so far.

Werks on my machine.

Shouldn't have used LTS then.

I did
;_;

trips don't lie (mostly)

t. microshit shill

not at all, only posting the truth - this update did not break my system. actually none has so far, and i was among the first ones to adopt win 10.
of course i dislike win 10 as an OS, but at least it just works. all i really do is surf Sup Forums, so not too concerned either way.

Imagine if there was a news story every time an update broke a Linux install

something happened
>something happened

Got the bsod, finally quit Windows 10 and installed mint. Fuck Windows.

Werks on my machine :^)

Sure.

what is the most non SJW OS in 2017?

debloated win 10 is still the king.

Microsoft is commercial software, sold with a hefty pricetag. Forcing updates on top of this gives them quite a bad light.

Ubuntu is free and doesn't force things on you.
There is nothing to argue here.

>Microsoft
meant Windows

And it only took him the time to install the updates, remove them, install again, wait for the antiviral software to peg his system for 20 minutes, then get a browser back open while giving up bandwidth to other users so they can also install updates.

So much better than anything else that's available. Sure must be nice having DX12 for your 5 games.

>needing to remove bloat from a clean install

I'm using LTSB and even the defender security definition updates have to beg for my approval.

...

>he needs to restart for updates
Lol, faggot. I can just log out and log back in when I update.

>completely disabled automatic updates in group policy
Nothing is mandatory for me.

Win 10 on my 2 computers always freezes up when i try to install updates... turned it all off and it works, kinda.

Windows = malware.

>maxya_nutella.jpg

I don't have any of these problems because I'm not a fucking faggot that likes to get cucked daily by his own operating system

Oh so that's why I got a BSOD.

I have LTSB, I don't get that update

>just bought new laptop
>came preloaded with win 10
>browsed it a bit, tried the terminal
>ls: not recognized
>dir
>dir
>fucking dir, lol
>make bootable linux drive
>delete system 32
>linux

Wait, wat? why not?

pls respond

Windows Server 2016.

>Windows 10 Interface if desktop is installed
>No bloat at all
>More secure
>No OS Breaking updates because microsoft would lose their enterprise customers
>All programs/games that run on Windows 10 run on server 2016
>No Cortana botnet

Only downside is
>Higher pricetag
But I got mine for free, so that doesnt apply to me.

bring me my curry nigger

Holy fucking shit, I thought my dad went crazy because I use Apple and he does Windows 10 and Autocad and he had one of the biggest shitfits I have ever seen because his computer BSoD and Autocad also broke down. That is how he supports his family though.

Apple still has the best update ethic in the business, High Sierra will be beta tested for like 6 months before release.

>not using powershell

Please tell me Windows Server 2016 doesn't restart automatically by default when it gets new updates.

Debian has guaranteed no breakage going stable to stable for a decade plus.

>This appears to actually only affect WSUS users

>Microsoft is fucking over enterprise
oh this will go great

Nice hyperbole. See, the problem with logical fallacies is not that you "cheat" in an argument, but that you sound stupid.
