I do but chink shows dont look that great to begin with.

hows that input lag and ghosting?

Soon, I have income now.

WHICH ONE DO I BUY THAT HAS A GOOD RESOLUTION, REFRESH RATE AND LEAST AMOUNT OF BEZEL?

>tfw IPS with ATW polarizer and 4:3 master race

IPS is outdated and old technology. Get VA for the best of both TN speeds and IPS visuals

or get OLED if you want a premium experience

really making use of all those colors with anime

>shite screen
>shite speakers

Sometimes I wonder what you people are fucking thinking when you post. "Look at how chic my outdated crap looks. 4:3 is the ideal aspect ratio and 3 inches is the ideal woofer size". I wish I knew you in real life so I could show you a proper setup

Had to literally google what's that.
Looks like placebo.

>drivers are 4.5" and not even used as woofers
>speakers actually fit on my desk and still get down to 50Hz
>still prefer 4:3 for almost all computer usage regardless of how "outdated" it is

I have large speakers in the living room, where they belong because there's actually room there. I also have a large 16:9 TV in the living room, because it actually makes sense for viewing 16:9 media from a long distance.

>not using SPVA instead

I have two

>doesn't know about IPS
>thinks it's a "placebo"
lel.

>chrome
>umatrix not even installed
>dual monitors
>meme accessories
>audio equipment
The utter state of your consumerism.

Neither do you, those are PLS. Also

>Not running 2

Step it up nigger

That was over a year ago, Umatrix was installed once ublock origin stopped blocking everything.

Now I use umatrix and ublock origin.

>chrome
could be chromium
>umatrix not even installed
imagine installing ublock origin and umatrix at the same time

But I do.

>now owning a 144hz 1ms ultra low flicker monitor
lmaoing @ u

>LCD
is such a piece of shit.
literally the worst display tech ever to have existed.
i hate humanity for having kept it alive for so goddanm long.

>muh good old days

You should end yourself. Half my life I've used CRT displays and and I'm glad they're dead.

>buying consumer grade products

>oled
>already designed to fail planned obsolescence bullshit

As premium as apple products.

but i do

>that wasted space
turn that shit to portrait fuck

OLED monitors when?

pro.sony.com
has been available for 5 years or so
hope you got 20,000 dollars

wew

5 years ago oled tvs were 20,000 dollars, now they're 2000. Why haven't monitors dropped?

desu the oled we're fed is consumerist low tier shit
these monitors are dci and professional use, this is the crap used in movie studios and reference for color production

BVMX300/2
>The BVM-X300 does not cover the BT.2020 color space in full.

idgaf i just want those inky blacks

eventually. i need to get dell to replace my 3rd monitor.

I use a couple of 'em... but they surround a VA panel, so I get to see the shortcoming of IPS everyday.

>899 USD

I love my ASUS 144hz VG248QE, I'm begining to realise how shit the colours are.

when did you buy it? as outdated as it is there are far better and cheaper 144hz monitors that have better colour than the one you got

who that bitch on the right bottom

Kuriyama Mirai

Bought mine in a pawn shop for $120 with no hours on it. Really wanted a CRT, but it was the best I could find.

but I do user

I have that exact same monitor. How do you like it?

show me an ips monitor with input lag as good as a tn monitor

> Shows chinese cartoons on it.

Not an argument.

anime website

>anime website
This is a technology board.

i like 144hz better but when i had a 1440p IPS monitor it was pretty

technology containment board on an anime website

Still not an argument.

For sure is Chrome, he works for Google.

My laptop monitor is IPS.
Is that count?

>not owning a 21:9 curved IPS monitor

>using umatrix

>oled
>wanting color degradation over time and burn in
Thanks but no thanks

How'd I do Sup Forums:

Pic related is this atm.

What am I looking at here? Did one of them discolor over time, or is that just production variance between units?

Right one looks good, left one looks greenish.

I have that ultrasharp too
Is nice as fuck

allaboutwindowsphone.com/features/item/20372_Do_AMOLED_phone_screens_degrad.php

Maybe I'm just missing it, but does he not say which one is the new one and which one is the old one?

He seems to imply that the less-bluish one is actually the old one and worse, but that seems like the left one and in the picture that one looks way worse.

Regardless, how do we know for sure that the displays don't just have shit quality control or come from multiple manufacturers? Maybe they were different like that even when brand new.

I'm sticking to TN till I can get a nice OLED one.

left is the old one

umatrix can't disable each one js when ublock does

Okay, well it looks greenish to me in the pictures, which isn't really how he describes it.

That battlestation looks really comfy UwU

what monitor is he (who's that guy tho) using?
thanks.

>who's that guy tho
Jeff Dean. A true genius and the most valuable Google engineer. He's like a God at Google and not even the CEO would go against him. He literally made Google what it is today and wrote/worked-on all of their most important software stacks. He's worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Now, notice something interesting:

He doesn't have two, three or four monitors and he doesn't have some gigantic TV screen that kills your focus and distracts him from everything important.

He's not distracted by having a phone out on his desk, because he doesn't use such technology as a lifeline like consumerist millennial do who'd literally die without their phone.

He doesn't have some bullshit meme mech keyboard with some special switches that were forged by elves in Japan from katana-grade steel and lights that emit perfect sRGB colors.

He doesn't have some tricked out text editor with million different features and colors.

He doesn't run some super-autistic Linux distro like Arch that demands you babysit it all the time, or a useless toy OS like Windows.

He doesn't have some DE with customized CSS US that you usually see in tons of threads on here.

He didn't even change the default theme, colors or the default background.

He can afford all that shit, yet he doesn't waste his time on it. Instead, he writes 100x more lines of code than you and is 1,000,000x more accomplished than you'll ever be. And he's infinitely smarter than you'll ever be.

So quit falling for fucking memes and quit craving all the latest bullshit that gets posted on here in these cancerous consumerist "generals" threads. Mark my words, and this is coming from a professional: there's nothing more pathetic than consumers who think having multi-monitor setups makes them productive.

Perhaps this is a pasta, but all I wanted to know was his monitor, I don't care about weird setups and stuff.
Thanks for the name though.

IPS have washed out colors from the backlight bleed. TN is better.

>tfw 40" 4k VA monitor

>23"

Get out of here, screenlet.

Get out of there, TV fag.

>tfw no IPS screen for t420

>TN

Ever heard of VA, fgt? a.k.a the future

>Almost amoled-like contrast
>Colors just slightly worse than IPS if at all
VA is clearly superior

No, I don't.
Probably bleeding, every high priced IPS seems to have that. I'm glad that I bought this XB280HK for 600 € in 2015, it was expensive, but was clearly worth it, there won't be anything better than 60 Hz Gsync 4K.

I had an IPS 1080p screen for a short time too, I didn't really make out a difference.

>tfw OLED screen for X1 yoga

simple 1080p HP pavilion 27 xi here. Ghosting not bad, 11 ms at worst, and of course: excellent viewing angles.

Color reproduction is literally the same for all of them. Off-axis color reproduction is what IPS is better than TN or VA, since those 2 will present color shifting and contrast loss at an angle. IPS is absolute crap for media consumption though, the shitty contrast ratio ruins everything.

Don’t make me feel bad, user.

isn't quantum dot VA better?

...

Nearly 2 years ago for about £200. I thought it was a steal at the time so I jumped on it.

How good are the benq cad monitors? I'm looking for a 27 or 30 inch screen, whd or 4k that's for a blender workstation.

I own something better; PLS. ;)

You made me use my surface pro.
Congrats, user.

Fuck that looks good. Why can't more consumer technology follow this type of utilitarian design philosophy?

Everything on that display looks like it does something, there's no useless """design""" tacked on for its own sake. Remove the make and model text and it convincingly passes for purpose built military hardware.

Old Dell 30' inch models, 16:10 ratio
Today begins this more close model dell UP3017.

I have no ghosting on mine and I've had it for years.

>not using a TN Eizo monitor
Its like you want eye cancer.

>his monitor is 1920x1080
>his monitor is 60Hz
>His monitor is a TN

muh games

it's clearly an HP monitor

not to mention he does DRUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>I have two
and nothing useful on either one

>space brother
>not useful

Get out

So, I don't want to upgrade to 4k until stops being the meme and becomes the norm.
What are the best 1080p, 1400p monitors that I can get used and could be used for color shit and so?
I like these, I want to buy two:
ebay.com/itm/202060188100

Can't wait for OLED monitors to flood the consumer market so I can relegate my CRT to old games only. A pro-grade OLED monitor costs more than 10 times my entire build.

Oled monitors...
Burn in

Burn in is only an issue if you're a retard and expect to still be using it in 10 years.

Assuming you're fine upgrading every 5 years or so OLED is fine.

>not owning three 4k ips led NEC Japanese made 27" monitors.
What does it feel like to use poverty level hardware?
