Stable, Beta, Aurora or Nightly?
Stable, Beta, Aurora or Nightly?
None. All are botnetted normieware.
Use Pale Moon with ublock origin.
Beta.
lol, tinfoil freefag.
Beta seems fine to me.
>Aurora
Anything 57+ is fine. Nightly can be annoying if you dislike updating every single day.
>Nightly
How often does the Beta version update?
>to a firecuck user freefag is an insult
This is how mozilla gets away with releasing worse shit each year
ESR
chrome. i can afford RAM and google dont give a shit about what i do..
I find it astonishing how popular Chrome is with how shit the text rendering is. It's like it's incapable of rendering actual blacks. Also, the kerning is totally fucked, especially with short width characters like l
beta is great imo
Most people (me included) don't give a shit about font rendering. Pic related, it's my font rendering on win10 and it's fine.
Why the fuck don't you google it yourself?
Holy fuck what's this shit
>Most people (me included) don't give a shit about font rendering.
That's literally a majority of what you're gonna be looking at.
>Pic related, it's my font rendering
Yeah, that's kinda my point. I literally had better font rendering on XP than in your picture.
>literally
>literally
fak
>That's literally a majority of what you're gonna be looking at.
Yes, but I'm looking at text to get information. I couldn't give a crap about it's aesthetics. Out of Sup Forums I NEVER heart someone complaining about font rendering.
I like your font
>Out of Sup Forums I NEVER heart someone complaining about font rendering.
That's probably because you only visit stupid threads. Have you never visited the Wikipedia comparison threads or even just any Linux thread?
also,
>reddit spacing
I'm using Firefox Quantum Beta on thee major platforms (Windows 7, OS X High Sierra, Fedora 26) and it outperforms anything else available, even Safari, which came close but doesn't open as fast and has fuckall extensions. The new Firefox is extremely comfy. I've heard that it's botnet but I don't really care, since I use a Librebooted and air gapped machine running OpenBSD for things that I need to be super secure. Anyone wanna confirm or deny the whole botnet thing?
>use firefox
>youtube black screen bug
>use nightly build
>webm playback error
Yeah, I like simplicity as well. Fuck clear type, fuck anti-aliasing, fuck webpages pushing remote fonts.
>using openCuck
You forgot fuck kerning.
I use nightly. Nightly = Aurora.
>reddit spacing
Errr, adding a newline for clarity is pretty normal, fa.m
Between paragraphs, yes. What you're doing is probably just baiting for replies though.
>openCuck
OpenBSD? That's the only good BSD distribution and it's more secure than most GNU/Linux distros. It's great for use cases when you need a rock solid system that's secure and open source, unless of course you're a shit eating retard that cares more about the licensing than the actual code *cough cough Pottering apologist*
Please show me your special rule book where I can find your autistic formatting rules. If it doesn't exist, plz shut the fuck up.
If you don't care about the license you are literally a cuck. You might as well use Windows.
>If you don't care about the license you are literally a cuck. You might as well use Windows.
Imagine being this detached from reality.
Text rendering isn't even the worst part of Chrome. Proper tab management is fucking non-existent, even with extensions.
What? Why should EVERYONE care that much about politics? Some people just what to get shit done on a good operating system that respects their freedom.
You're right. You convinced me.
wtf happened to paul mccartney
I don't know what you did to fuck up windows 10 this badly, did you turn off cleartype?
I do care about the license and the BSD license is better than the GPL, stay mad.
>Palemoon
>Not Waterfox
(lol
Yes, well I was about to turn it off (new install since two weeks) but it wasn't even enabled. All win10 themed dialogs still have a cleartype-ish effect on them. The pre-win8 themed dialog however don't.
Is there anyway to turn off clear type in all of windows 10?
I must admit I never tried Waterfox. Probably because Pale Moon does everything I need in a satisfying manner.
If you're talking about the things that look like "modern app" things, then no. They're DPI aware by default and do greyscale AA automatically. It doesn't look like cleartype since it's not using the subpixels, but it doesn't look like normal text with Cleartype turned off either.
Yes, makes perfect sense, thanks.
What does Waterfox have over Pale Moon?
I second this question.
They just remove stuff from Firefox, and don't try to add their bad code into it
...
So literally a snake oil project after the default 64bit ff on windows.
>someone gives you a gift
>"you stole him!"
GLPtards in a nutshell.
>all BSD licenses are the same
Stay idiot.
>releasing code with a BSD license is like giving a gift to companies
With that cuck license, it sure is.
