So...why not? I know it's probably because you're a poorfag struggling with neetism, but I'll here your excuse you tell others to allow yourself to cope.

sell me on why I need it because I can assure you I don't.

>convenience
>supporting the development of new tech innovation
>not being a hobo

>probably because you're a poorfag
I bought my Redmi 4 Prime for €140 and it has a pretty good fingerprint scanner

you can remove the fingerprint scanner, its not like the phone cant be opened.

I dont have anything to worry about on my phone so a lock isn't necessary. The tech isn't new. Im not a hobo

>sending ((( them ))) your fingerprints

>prints lifted off one of the tens of thousands of surfaces I've touched
>mugged and have my fingers chopped off
>spreading your password around the whole world just so you can have convenience
Just go without a passcode and don't have your entire world revolve around the phone. The only thing a burglar's getting is my $100 chink phone with some contacts and non-compromising texts.

This kills the jews

>I dont have anything to worry about on my phone

Aren't you worried some nig will steal it and use it to call his extended family in Zimbabwe?
That's my only worry (I never enter CC or banking details into my phone)

I don't believe in fingerprint scanners as offering real security.
But it would be nice as an alternative to the pattern unlock.

I can't share it with other people like that.

This.

deletes lockscreen.db from android filesystem.

What were you saying user?

I have Galaxy S5 my mom used before she got S8+, it was bought when they came out and I did the factory reset, no rooting or w/e.
Works fine, battery could be better.
I had Lumia 730 and it was fine, had Galaxy Fit for like 2-3 years and I only wanted a bigger screen.
I make a call once 2-3 months, usually people are calling me, I send 3 SMS shits, without counting the 3 I send each month to activate 250mb data for internet. I don't even have anyone stored in my contacts, I know who it is by the last 4 digits.
Using a phone for Android development and to send someone a message on Viber/WApp/FB (0.facebook works in my country, which means no data is being charged so I can send free messages).
Why would I need a fingerprint scanner? I really don't care if it gets stolen, there is never more than ~1$ of credits on the SIM, no logs or some private stuff.
I've always hated mobile phones and the whole concept behind them, some people look at it as an "instant conversation with a potential plan for later" and just call you.
I only use it for more than a few minutes when I'm at a cafe alone to browse the internet.

I don't own a phone at all. Work provides me with one and I still don't use the fingerprint scanner. I'm not a shit eating tech illiterate that carriers a personal tracking device because of "muh appz". Fuck off, numale garbage.

>Work provides me with one

>I'm not a shit eating tech illiterate that carriers a personal tracking device

You do realize your boss can track you...right?

If you're late on Monday he knows exactly which club you went to.

But I have the iPhone 7+

>2017
>Owning a phone
topcuck

I have one and can tell you its a useless gimmick just like wireless charging.

I locked my contract to block anything that costs money, including phone numbers that cost money to call, SMS messages that costs money, international calls etc

Shitposting first thing in the morning.
Yeah, OP couldn't be a NEET.

The law enforcement agencies should send you a check at the end of the year if you purchase a phone with a fingerprint reader.
