>he's not using WPA2 Enterprise RADIUS to authenticate to his home network
Yeah, didn't think so.
>he's not using WPA2 Enterprise RADIUS to authenticate to his home network
Yeah, didn't think so.
I use a private GSM network at home.
Stay pleb
>GSM
That's cool, but I hope you enjoy 3Mbps aggregate and rain fade up the arse
nix the rain fade for gsm since it's generally UHF
You log in to your computer with a username and password
Why wouldn't you log into your network with a username and password?
Fuck that shit, I use a private LTE network.
gsm is as easy as wep to crack
Rain fade in a house?
GSM usually implies a relatively large geographic area
Maybe if you have a personal cell tower in your backyard
>wireless
normie problems
not knowing security != wireless off and remove clip from cat 6
OP confirmed for /r/oldppltechsupport
>wasting time with autism
>not wanting your home to have the simplest configurations so you don't waste your down time on bullshit
I use wep so I can honeypot skids
>remove clip from cat6
>implying RADIUS auth isn't simpler than having a complex WPA2 password
now I have the extensibility for guest authentication, user authentication, and post authentication actions, such as setting up a file sharing repo on my server. basically I can automate anything just by tailing the radius log file and taking actions based on the input
>user authenticates with radius
>file share automatically created
>permissions for printers, and file sharing groups happen automatically
>toaster makes toast
>kettle starts boiling
>porn starts playing
>whiskey gets poured
I mean come on, WPA2 personal on suicide watch
Like I said, autism.
i thought i was the only one
>guest authentication
I just give guests the WPA2/PSK password if I trust them, or run a shell script that puts up an isolated network with only access to the internet if I don't.
>user authentication
Got the password, you're authenticated. Don't, you're not.
>post authentication actions, such as setting up a file sharing repo on my server
I just have my laptop and phone set up to authenticate with the file shares on my server automatically when I click into them. Nobody else on my network is trying to break into the non public ones, and I might need to access them through ssh port forward from outside my network so I want them to stay set up.
>I can automate anything just by tailing the radius log file and taking actions based on the input
This is nice though I don't have a lot of need to perform actions when a device joins the wifi.
>This is nice though I don't have a lot of need to perform actions when a device joins the wifi.
That's what you think right now, but once you have the capability you'll find all kinds of stuff to do
Such as?
>neighbor's cat joins the wifi
>>play hiss.flac
>not using GPON at home
it's like you enjoy being a slowpoke
what are you talking about?
>he's openly broadcasting his ssid
Its like you don't want double security
>make yourself vulnerable to hijacking, while simultaneously increasing the time it takes to associate with the AP by at least 5 seconds
lol, no
I just use WPA2 Personal for home devices along with an isolated open network named "Enjoy the Viruses" for when I'm too lazy to give people the password.
So much hassle. i'll stick with WEP.
>hassle
only if you're a brainlet, such as yourself
You actually belived that bait..
>wep
>not a hassle
Utter shit.
>the grins on those disgusting whores
would allahu akbar
setting up a radius server is the hardest part of this and its almost impossible if you try to do it with free software.
i just run 2 routers one for guests, and one for niggers
yeah but it's not interfacing with your PAN or home net, so that's pleb
