If those are the issues you're having, I can only assume you're running Windows on it or bought a REALLY fucking old used model and expected linux to be a magic bullet to make it run like it's 2007 again. My 4 year old ideapad is inferior to same year Thinkpads in pretty much every way and I have none of those problems
