You have no idea of what you are talking about.

noo pero huevón que pasó con el ight

Yes I do. This is based on gini, GDP per capita, corruption ranking, government effectiveness ranking, and HDI. Also I've been to all of these countries except Cuba, Paraguya, and Honduras.

Los memes mogolicos de /lat/ debe permanence red /lat/, pirobo.

Again, you have bo idea of what you are talking about. Perú and Colombia are the main reasons why I say this.

Uruguay should be 2
and this

Sorry, you're not factoring in the latest data. Mexico suffers due to crime rate and the cartel situation which factors into the government efficacy ratings that economists use, e.g, at the world bank. Peru and Colombia are up. Just based on GDP per capita yes you would be higher. But I mentioned other things

Now fuck on off back to your reggaeton and anime and let the people with data talk.

Uruguay is higher that Costa Rica in gdp per capita but lower in government efficacy, ease of doing business, and corruption rankings averaged over time.

Again, you have no idea of what you are talking about. I give you that Perú is safer, but that's it.

...

This only bolsters my point. Like I said, Mexico is richer but I used a bunch of factors. If you don't like how I put them together make your own.

>colombia has 30+ murder rate starting with more than 60
>Mexico's worst year was 22 starting with 10 (below average, at the same rate as Perú)
>Mexico has better stats in virtually everything else than both perú and colombia
>cartels (that exist everywhere in latin america) make mexico worse for some reason

You can think whatever you want, but you don't actually know what you are talking about.

I have much more idea what I'm talking about than you do first of all because I live this data and second of all because I did my own weighing of the factors I listed without saying what they were. You could probably reverse engineer it.

I for one care a lot about the homicide and violent crime rate and believe that over a certain level it begins to have a nonlinear impact on growth.

I love Mexico. You shouldn't be butthurt. Itll get better. But right now there is work to do.

BROWN

How do any of those relate to power? I'll grant you is a well being ranking but it has nothing to do with influence or politiical clout. Argentina, Brasil and Mexico sit in the G20, we get a say in global politics, we pay more into the UN system, we have far larger and more important corporations, how many big multinationals on the Cemex, América Movil or Bimbo level does Chile have?

Merely the shit that stinks the least. Just like KZ in Central Asia.

You're obviously just butthurt because I didn't put your country first or whatever.

Colombia has a lower corruption score, better doing business score than Mexico and is on the upswing not down in crime rate over the last decade and just achieved a peace deal with its rebels.

Power rankings are just rankings you fucking autist. They don't have anything to do with "power." It's just a term used for ranking shit with a proprietary formula.

Show me the rest of the data then. Show me gini, pisa, HDI, IHDI and almost any stat you could find. I'm an autist who has tons of pics of this already saved.

I'm not butthurt desu, I don't really like this country and I know it's problems better than you because I live through them. I also don't have anything against Perú and Colombia, but it simply doesn't make sense.

Alright.

Chileeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Since when it's an accomplishment?

You're right about "power." But Chile at least is a developed country at this point. But Mexico is more influential just because of its population. If by power you mean political or military or any other literal kind of power then my list is wrong. But I was giving rankings on like which is a shit country and which isn't using economic and political data.

Really man, I'm honestly telling you. You don't know.

Way behind Peru on GINI

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_distribution_of_wealth

We are worse than El Salvador now? care to explain?

wow...

Shut up mexico, also, fucking oscars?

kek

...

And apparently you don't get what I'm talking about either...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_power

Fair enough, like I said I'm willing to accept that ranking as well being and I will admit that is a far more important parameter. But it isn't just population, Mexico exports more than Brasil, it does so as manufactured goods rather than comodities and is the country with the most FTAs in the world. It isn't as if population alone magically grants you anything...

Why give me a (You) though.

Sorry man, my bad, I misread that

I want to be like you when I grown up

>Fair enough, like I said I'm willing to accept that ranking as well being and I will admit that is a far more important parameter. Nah, making 75% of your economy depending of the united states, and pretty much turn your country into a MAID country grants you that.

You are overcomplicating yourself. Just answer this: Which country in LatAm is better to live in as poor/middle class person?

None desu. But Chile and Uruguay seem nice enough.

He is autistic. everyone knows the southern cone is just better, but he will argue that building low quality cars for americans and having more oscars mean something

Man, we don't brown nose to the US the way you do I mean just look at your flag... Who gave you those f-16s and supported you through Pinochet? Meanwhile we don't support American wars, we are the only country in Latin America that's gone against them on conscience issues (like relations with Cuba) and we spend a good deal of our diplomatic budget fighting them on courts, from the WTO to OAS to their own court system, and mostly we do win. So take a look at your own history as the US lap dog in the region because in the Lat Am classroom you're very much the teacher's pet for Miss America while we sit at the back chilling... That we are banging the teacher after school is none of your business, countries all over the world and we are in North America...

He is a different user, and I wouldn't argue that.

I love you too

my city alone has more people than you, uruguay and costa rica combined, and it has a higher hdi than you, it's easy to talk when there are barely any people living there

Autism speaks

*countries all over the world build regional blocks and we are in North America

Today Chile, looking forward into the future I'd rather live in the world's 5th largest economy than in South America's Sweden however...

>Who gave you those f-16s
We bought them. Our Socialist president did when our current president was minister of defense.

>we are the only country in Latin America that's gone against them on conscience issues

That's the most ignorant thing you had said in the last 3 minutes almost every country in latin america aside from Panama and Colombia go against murrika.

India?

>and it has a higher hdi than you

Kek, that's not true, Chile in GENERAL is 0.832, Mexico city (due the companies alone, since the education is shit) is barely 0.830.

Santiago has a HDI of 0.898. Dude you are not going to win this game. Stop embarrasing yourself.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Autonomous_University_of_Mexico#Nobel_laureates

public too

>more people than you, uruguay and costa rica combined

yes, you have more people. What's your point?

What did he mean by this statement?

See? this is the kind of stuff you in your autism need to go for.

Half of your population won't get a highschool degree, your drop out rates are huge, and you want to use the acomplishments of a few as an argument?

I'm waiting for your next psot about how Jaguars and monkeys are qt and chile doesnt have jaguars and monkeys.

it's easy to talk when there are barely any people living there

Pretty accurate. But must of our beaches are made of grass, so they are not very good to swim.

Go ahead and post the maps son.

you were specifically talking about mexico city those statistics are counting chiapas and the countryside, chile is better but only because of low population

That's a popular opinion. Especially if you are from la serena, for a few regions in argentina driving to chile is closer that go to the beach on the other side, this year was crazy, thanks to zika lots of argies cancelled their uruguayan-brazillian dates and came here since you know. We don't have Zika. We don't have Malaria, dengue, rabies, or any of those third world exotic diseases.

You are not arguing with me, senpai.

Japan has about the same population as mexico.
Bolivia has 10 mil, and Paraguay about 7 mil.

Again, what's your point?

and not so long ago your countrymen where being dumped in the ocean, recent success based on low population and copper doesn't mean anything

Calláos ya con la hostia de "desu" y "senpai", me molesta mucho.

>you were specifically talking about mexico city those statistics are counting chiapas and the countryside, chile is better but only because of low population

And that's counting all of chile, if we do the same with Santiago and Mexico city you would get fucked. Your special snowflake region of you country isnt independent. In chile you can't get a job cleaning toilets without a high school degree. Chiapas is part of your country, without Maule (chile's WHITEST region) we would have well over 99% of literacy. But we don't cheat. We don't cherrypick regions. Meanwhile you have to let out 70% of your country's population to compare to our entire country.

Want to see something fun?

This is Chile's violent history, in your best year you were never close to our worst one. Now shut up and enjoy the life in your country instead of being jelous of a little country half a world away

Son los filtros, Manolo, lo siento.

>and not so long ago your countrymen where being dumped in the ocean

Our violent and terrible dictatorship and had a total of 3000 deaths... in 18 years.
Your country under democracy in his BEST year, had a higher murder rate that that.

Posteare comida tipica chilena. Que es bastante mas interesante que darle bola a un pelotudo.

No, I'm talking historically and I'm talking big things. We were also the first to walk away from the Interamerican Defense Treaty, I think only Venezuela folowed and that was when it was already hostile to the US under Chavez...

On Cuba en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuba–Mexico_relations

Mexico was "the only Latin American country to maintain diplomatic ties with Cuba throughout the Cold War."[11]

Yes, by 2050 the poos in the loos will be the world's 3rd largest economy, you'll be tripping over yourself to do business with them. It will still be a miserly place to live in by all standards, but even today India wields power, they fucking have nuclear weapons and build their own fighter jets. Even if you discount poo thecnology they have enough they could take over South America if the rest of the world didn't intervene. Sure, it would take the incompetent bastards a full fucking decade building ships but they would win and there's nothing you could to stop them if tha arms race got started today and you all banded together. That's power.

Calzones rotos o Klenät

the city thing was to show you how small populations doesn't mean anything

3000 deaths and 30,000 tortures that happened almost all 1973 with 9 million people makes up for a murder rate of 33 and torture rate ten times that, by your own govenment not random criminals

Fish and chips.

Th number of argie tourists was bigger this year that the last one, I don't know what you are talking about,

Here. Have a sopaipilla

lol You are drunk, just shut up already, cunt.

...

Fish and chips seriously? You even serve that as if it wasn't junk food...

Less people to brazil and a slightly better economy, i was in Punta del Este and montevideo during the summer, Still mostly brazillians in every tour.

Also king of food, classical as fuck

...

Mett niggers, fucking mett

Empanadas, made with flour, as it should be, using corn it's absolutly retarded and it's something that doesnt exist in chile.

>pelotudo
what

en chile comen carne cruda???

...

should i study abroad in Chile lads?

In Vina del Mar specifically

Si, pero es mayoritariamente algo de el sur y el centro, en santiago la carne es mas cara y se ha perdido la tradicion.

En chile se usa bastante el pelotudo, lo que no se usa es el boludo.

He's just posting German/British foods so people can wonder at how European his country is... Most of it isn't stuff they eat on a daily basis...

Genuinely wasn't sure if this was the Texas flag or not

entonces tengo que visitar chile algun dia
vale la pena Santiago? Es el primer destino logico para mi

I thought Chile was the best but then I heard about Reggaeton

Nah, go to Buenos Aires, it's cheaper, Viña is a place to go and get drunk for a whole year. And Valpo is our "San franscisco" but extremely shitty, dangerous and filled with hippies and students.

Cheap beer, pretty decent law school and sea related stuff, but seriously Buenos Aires gives you a better "latino" college experience

for how long?
forget about full-time imo
also, avoid that city in winter, too much cold sea steam

visitalo por máximo 2 dias, esta muy contaminado
