This is full blown AIDS.

it begins

You've been able to do with for years with Azure/AWS VMs if you just followed a tutorial.

So, how much lag can we expect? 60ms at best?
And what do they offer? 60fps 1080p ultra?

Define good internet connection.

Normies are too dumb to do that.

Cloud gaming has been a thing for quite a while now.

Not Australia

>60ms
Can't see why it would be that bad. You can easily get 5ms to a nearby datacenter if you have say a 100 MBit line.

Last time I looked into this sort of thing 30 MBit was recommended. The problem isn't the connection on your end though, it's what the clouds charge for pushing that much data through their own network.

who the fuck is it that keeps paying for these subscription cloud gayming things they are so fucking terrible

>1080p ultra 60fps for mac users powered by NVIDIA Titan XPs for free

HAHAHAHAHAHA PCTARDS BTFO FOREVER

At 1$/hr, I would have spent over 10,000$ not including buying the games for the past 4 years

So how does this work? Do I have to own the games? Will overwatch work?

>he thinks it's going to be free when it isn't in beta and you aren't doing NVIDIA's QA for them

how the fuck does this work nigga does your isp send frames

the same as twitch plays pokemon. They stream you the game and take inputs from you.

Hope you like massive input lag, macturds.

>start VM with MacOS
>run shitload of miners
>go retarded

Theres also ways to do this with Citrix and VMWare using special NVidia and AMD cards. Mainly it gets used for Virtual CAD workstations but it could easily be used for games.

Just testing it on shadow of war.

The latency is small, but it's obvious and there. I still don't see this being a competitor to having a real machine.

Also, even on 2x res and all ultra, the compression is making everything look worse.

aaaaahahaaaha itoddlers btfo can't even mod cp onto skyrim. is apple stock a true measure of human retardation

Reminder that this is what happens when macfags are given games
youtu.be/dCEQZ_4V7NY

Macfag can't upgrade the videocard?
They are tied with the same old videocard
forever?
>F

Not only that from now they're also stuck with fucking vega out of all cards lmoa.

Stop it pls. You're killing my side.

>not having a hackintosh
:^)

It's fucking awesome, ping 12, settings ultra, central europe server.

reminder that this is extremely vulnerable to exploits and is not secure

So wait, we have free access to expensive GPUs?
Bitcoin mining here I come

Just tried it on my 2013 retina MacBook Pro.

Works pretty fucking well. Also uses as much battery as playing a movie.

Try to run 1080p stuff into a 27’ 5k screen.

is this enough for 4k??

Holy shit those graphics
PCfags btfo

Business as usual I see

This is a good review. You're used to the eccentricities of Steam, but it really didn't have a great user experience in 2010 and it still doesn't. On any platform.

Just tried this out and its pretty good

lol @ merds who are salty calling this shit, its pretty amazing tbhh

They don't cost much at all when you're Nvidia

...

...

...

You don't buy Nvidia for macs because Nvidia blows for opengl

lel.

I love you so much user.

Well they can't use GeForce cards because Nvidia is artificially restricting the driver installer from running in VMs.

You should benchmark those Teslas.

What are the response times like?

It's only for OSX because X is a network protocol and NT sux0rz

Played some Dishonored. rtd started around 25ms and was down to 16ms when I finished; it felt fairly responsive regardless of this value, but this is about the fastest paced game I would want to play like this. It doesn't do 1440p streaming, and although the picture doesn't look terrible it's nowhere near as crisp as it is when running locally.

The various quality indicators went up and down (they were actually more erratic when rtd was lower, oddly enough) but I didn't really notice any actual video freezing or judder as a result, only very occasional audio skipping.

Overall, it was good enough that I could forget it was streaming and immerse myself in the game and I guess that's the most important test. However it was a notable downgrade from local play even on my modestly specced machine.

I was playing on a GPON FTTP connection in the south of Scotland, with 70-73Mbit typical downstream and 12-14ms typical rtt to London. Ethernet to my desktop.

>FTTP
>73Mbit

hahahahahahahahaha

>Mac fags have to rely on fucking windows server 2012 to play games
ahahahahahaahah

I'm being a cheapskate, because that's all I really need. There are 300+Mbit packages available if I wanted them.

Problem is that you get logged off after a few minutes if you don't launch the game exe

I can already imagine what you look irl you fat virgin fuck

Begin made for servers, inside PC

sheeeet

OnLive is from 2003.

wait are you telling me this wasn't possible on macs before?
I always wondered why these macfags keep complaining about games but never did this

...

...

...

delete system32 xd

how do i add mod organizer or smth to skyrim in that?

Do I need to own games and log into steam or something?
Or do they have default library to try?

yeah you have to own the game. it downloads instantly tho

No free games, if you dont own the game steam doesn't even launch

The games are preinstalled in the VM
Also after you successfully launch a game, it will not let you use the steam GUI after that

What games are pre-installed?
