Hard to tell, I use Minuum but it takes some time to get used to.
>file manager
Es file manager *PRO* (don't touch free with a ten foot pole, just pirate pro), alternatively Solid or Fx
>archives
Zarchiver(best support for encrypted and multipart archives, file managers can crap out on those. Also it's faster.)

Can someone tell me how to install Substratum on LineageOS? I can't figure out how to get it to work.

>iYTBP (YouTube with no ads, background play, and Dark theme)
why don't you just use Newpipe?

Your post doesn't show it but would you recommend AdAway?

This thread is about the best apps, not barely functional apps.

Use a build of lineage os with microg bundled in.
Other useful apps are yalpstore, adaway, clover, fdroid, gapps browser, k9 mail, kernel adiutor, and tachiyomi.

Your ROM has to explicitly support OMS.

>unironically using an office app on a phone
What else are you supposed to read docs/pdfs with? It's not like I'm editing this stuff on the go.

really? when I search "how to install substratum on lineageos" on youtube there's a bunch of pajeet tutorials on it...

lineage doesn't officially support it, but it still kind of works.
It'll let you apply a theme, but after you do that you will need to do a clean flash if you want to update your rom.

Just werks on LOS 15. And Oreo in general, to be precise.

So when will 15 start rolling out to more devices?
