From what I can gather, select coupons can only be used on select items. Aliexpress coupons can be used on anything.

Coupons works on selected stores, and you have to spend their specified amount on same store to use that select coupon.
While regular aliexpress coupons works on every store as long total combined order is over that required amount.

Because the range of things you can use them on is limited.
You can argue that select items EXPECT YOU to use coupons to have a good deal while non select items (might) have a lower price without the use of coupons. (always check, chinks are assholes)
For example, I have a 5 bucks off 25 coupon. I can use it to buy something that is going on sale but is not a select item. The Bluedio T4S comes to mind, they are selling for dirt cheap in 11.11, they come from the usual 33 bucks to 27 on sale and down to 22 with the coupon.

Are there actual discounts when ordering AliE with the app?

I wanna say, the battery life on this is pretty shit, I've listened to music on it for about 15 mins then again after a few hours, and it was barely able to go for a few minutes. Seems like it consumes the same amount even when not if it is turned on. It also finishes charging in like an hour, half what they seed it will need.

Ah bad choice of words on my part, I was planning to use it, so it was turned on, but it was not playing anything. The problem is that it still only lasted for about 3 hours, like when it playing music. Actually I haven't tested that, so I do that now.

Hello /csg/. I'm from Sweden and the law here states that any knife or "Dangerous Object" cannot be carried in public areas unless it is a part of your job. This law rules out all useful items for self defence except pepperspray, rape whistles and flashlights.
Does anyone have a recommendation for chinese a flashlight that is well suited for blinding self defensef?

I paid 600 SEK for my first 120 GB SSD perhaps 3 years ago. I bought a 240 SSD on sale for 700 SEK a bit later.

The 120 GB SSD's are currently going for 600 SEK and the cheapest 240 GB is about 900 SEK. 500 GB's are around 1600. It's pretty much the same price or slightly higher price than .. before.

I advice against buying no-name SSDs, btw. They are usually slow and have the worst quality nand of all.

The Amazfit's are almost a year old now, they used to be like $120 or something like that. I'm pretty sure there will be a v2 or something not too far into the distant future and you'll be able to pick'em up for like $50. I've seen them around $80-90 the last few months.

I sort-of want one, to be honest, almost bought one right after they came on the market a year ago. What stops me is the fact that I don't wear a watch, haven't in more than a decade. My first dumb phone had a clock on it's 3-line display so I just stopped wearing a device just for time. The new "smart" watches are cool but I'm not totally convinced I'll use them more than once before I decide that having some shit on my wrist isn't worth it.

Not sure why it's named Amazfit either. Either you lift or you don't, some watch won't make you bench 160 kg.

Anything effective for self defence is illegal.

You can take classes, but it's not going to help that much against group attacks, people throwing rocks, knives and improvised.

You'll just have to accept that it's "part and parcel" unless you want to break the law, but you'll get caught and sent to the gulag.
