Post the most meme architecture from your city.
I give you the Selfridges Building, Birmingham

Looks kinda like those Digimon train things. Only lewder.
That looks like something I could put in my anal orifice
My city is meme architecture on its own. Full of stupid concrete people like to praise
>ooow so progress much modern such beautiful
These two are probably the memest.
I'm conflicted on this.
This is a library at Eemplein, Amersfoort.
What to you think?
why doesn't this picture show the 300 niggers and arabs that always surround the building?
i've been to the city twice so i'm pretty much an expert on birmingham
That looks fucking amazing.
The weird orb things are kinda out of place though.
inside
Awful and lazy modernist dross. I'm guessing this is Brasilia?
Modern architecture. Arr rook same.
also definitely Perlan (The Pearl) in Reykjavík
built as a waterstorage/luxury restaurant hybrid in the 90s it's now mostly a place where hundreds of tourists buy overpriced ice cream and have a great view at the city
>The weird orb things are kinda out of place though.
That's my main problem with it
Ah so that's where my Windows wallpaper comes from..
probably taken during friday prayers akhi
wwOW so FuTiRisTIQu3 aNd CoOl br3Ewh

Yep. This will be forever a dark stain in our history as we aren't likely to change the capital any time soon. Compared to this, Rio is a wonderful place. Mostly the older buildings, though. Nowadays, only """"modern"""" buildings are made.
Our capital Canberra is basically the same except tiny in comparison. A pointless planned city full of "visionairy ideas".
Rio looks like one of the most beautiful cities in the world тbh. Pity the crime rate is so fucked.
Which one lads?
It's for a new "Student Support Centre"
Whatever that is
...
A fucking cheese grater
manchester
i fucking hate this daft piece of shit, sticks out like a sore thumb and looks horrible
A or D
The rest are generic modern architecture which will look ever worse in real life.
looks like a shitty screen effect from a late 90s scifi film
what the fuck
It is a bit of an odd one
It's so much taller than everything else, has that weird bit on the top and the ledge on the side
This thing landed in the 70's in Katowice's (Poland) town center, and it just doesn't seem to want to leave.
Fun fact: many major e-sports events are held here.
That's in Sapporo right? It looks cool in winter.
I went to the top of that, pretty lacklustre view. On street level Manchester looks pretty similar to my own city, I like the grand old architecture
particularly the town hall
.
this folding bridge
...
This one. Because we love soccer... a fucking soccer museum.
I remember visiting manchester and thinking they were building a new skyline, nope just one tall building.
I'm still waiting for it to just fly away. It's a church
F looks pretty cool to be honest. You know, the long high round opulent pillars really makes you wonder. And there is so many of them.
Talking about long round opulent strong pillars, here is another from my city. The inside looks like shit. The commies changed the seats which were supposed to be grading blue and green to all boring red.
JUST
Blends in pretty nicely
is that a fucking building? with stuff inside it?
finland is basically aus/canada/USA, except with less historic architecture
yup...
I hate it.
I hate seeing modern Architecture in Europe.
The architect was born in Funland, you're welcome
that's in Yamagata city. not Sapporo.
surprisingly, this big apartment is popular among local people. Rooms of this apartment are all full.
The Rooms, St. John's NL
Named and designed after the "fishing rooms" in small outports that fishermen would use to clean and gut fish because we fucking love fish
...
...
Post a photo of it in winter, it looks cool
By volume probably, don't know about per capita
...
kek that actually sounds really cool, like a film score for a scene where someone is being followed
Doesn't look that bad. Not memey at all. Could have less windows.
not that cool 2bh.
...
We have a building in London that melts cars because of its shape
It looked cool in the one photo I saw of it. Maybe it was just good lighting/angle/camerawork.
it looks memey when you see its neighbours
top kek what the fuck are with those stripes on the stairs? Did they put it there so people would trip?
Fresh 2016 meme
Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow), in Rio
>that's a cool looking building you got over there, just let met casually ADD A FUCKING BATHTUB TO IT
...
What did they mean by this?
>that queuing
WTF i love brazil now
...
That's badass.
They're handrails
Oh, I see it now. They are just handles.
kek I saw that on the TV news
quite impressive
>A FUCKING BOAT
that reminds me that I killed many ants by magnifying glass when I was a kid.
...
>falling for the old = better meme
A or G
looks kind of like a muller corner carton
Idiot monkey
Post-modern architecture is fucking shit.
proof that the Jewish Sup Forums conspiracy literally exists
An abomination
respect the basket
dafuq? I though it was shooped
So meme foreigners call us bongs because of it.
Reminded me of this one.
Why are there no russians?
This too
Yeah, glass and steel look so good, right?
...
The last piece didn't fit. They had to stretch the two other struts to wedge it in.
It's ugly as all hell, but still one of my favorite land marks. There's a really good Lewis and Clark museum underneath too.
I quite like this
This is also really nice, looks like a flower
Public toilet
>meme building to expose meme modern """"""art""""""" collections
All of these is obviously funded by taxpayers
Was that actually an accident? The top piece keeps the whole thing together, I'd imagine they'd want to have as tight as possible
A fucking boot.
Drove past this a while back, looked so out of place, this modern, huge tower surrounded by old, rural buildings like it has been pulled out of a city centre and dumped in the countryside
It was too big but a couple of inches I think. Or so my dad says. He's an ironworker so I trust him, and his union leader was the foreman for the project.
Actually it's more like a nuclear power plant
oh Kiel has so much worse to offer.
I lived there for 8 years
>a fucking clock
>what kinda tower you want senpai
>have you ever played on a PS2?
>say no more
Not a single one of those pieces is post-modern.
Is that supposed to be a hashtag?
