>UltraSharp U2414h is still the best way to go for people that don't want to go over 1080p/60hz or don't want to spend 600 bucks in a monitor

What the fuck happened?

2415 is better and 16:10

>16:9 trash

120hz/144hz 27" 1440p IPS ultrasharp WHEN

jesus fuck PLEEEASEEEE

>UP3017
Only (decent) model with 16:10 and greater res than 1080p right now.
Wanna go higher than 1080p, but dont want to drop 900-1000 on a Monitor.
While you can get decent 16:9 monitors for basically nothing.

I wish i spent a little extra at the time and went for U2414H, got P2414H instead.

>16:9
>decent
choose one

U2417H is better. U2415 is also better.

>99% of the existing content is intended for 16:9
>le 16:10 is better xdddd instal gentuuuxddd
Okay now kill yourself and go to some 16:10 thread piece of subhuman shit

Resolution is king, aspect ratio is a meme.
You can arrange windows in a 16:9 screen, so you can have a pretty good single monitor workspace. Nostalgia meme fuckers and vaporwave millenials are the ones that pull the crap of meme aspect ratios

What about the S2418H? FHD, HDR, Freesync @ 75hz, good speaker and no bezels, it should be around the same price.

While we're at it. Whats the best 27" ips for gaming on a console and watching movies on my pc? I'm aware of the pixel density etc but I won;t be browsing on it. I'll sort of be using it as a tv. I want one with a THIN as bezel like OP's dell. Most try and bullshit using images of 24" models but the bezels are actually THICC in comparison.

How is the U2715H? Considering buying a larger second monitor.

no one fucking cares about your fucking retarded existence, leave

This
1920x1200 (16:10) is better than 1920x1080. At the same time 1600x900 (16:9) is better than 1440x900

who /900p@240hz/ masterrace

CRT?

no

>pay $500 for a 240hz monitor b/c "muh esports"
>can only get solid 240fps at 900p

Have one. I love it. Not so great contrast though. But great build quality and very decent picture quality.
But I wish IPS glow didn't exist.

>>UltraSharp U2414h is still the best way to go for people that don't want to go over 1080p/60hz or don't want to spend 600 bucks in a monitor

I use u2410.
Bought it like 10 years ago.

I just want a decent high-refresh 1440p with G-sync but the offerings have literally not changed in like 3 years and they're still $600-700.

How the fuck is this possible, is the display industry just milking us or are they just absolutely failing at overcoming the current technological limits.

you want one of those chink vision monitors?
what would that be, 24:3?

>gsync
>affordable
Pick one. If you want a cheap monitor go Freesync. Gsync will never drop in price until AMD threatens Nvidias marketshare.

Will there be affordable 4K IPS 120Hz displays before 2025?

Own 2 u2417h's, my cousin owns a u2414h on my recommendation, about to grab a second. They are about the same, but I had to explain him how to enable the full color range in the nvidia control panel, that's what opened his eyes to them

>go Freesync

But muh GTX1080

>mah IPS bleeding mem

>2017
>actually want to upgrade past 24" 1080p60hz
>everything sligthly above in terms of size, resolution and refresh rate is insanely expensive

The only thing that is currently pretty good are HDD/SSD prices, everything else is pretty much BS right now. Especially RAM prices. Why has no one done anything against the price colusion?

u2515h is 300

fuck IPS, OLED when?

GPUs are stuck at 144fps on 1080p

always was a fan of ultrasharps

didnt know Sup Forums likes them too since them expensive unlike korean monitors

>CRTs are still the best way to go for people that want good looking images at any resolution

What the fuck happened?

Too bad no one want to watch 800x600 images anymore or get super cancer uh

I'm looking to get a monitor for video editing
Anyone know of a good 4k monitor that's colour accurate and isn't insanely expensive?
