>muh 144hz
Human eye almost can't see beyond 60fps.
The difference is like 5%, meanwhile you cucks are getting jewed out of your shekels.
I'm never leaving 1080p, it's not worth it.
Muh 144hz
DELET THIS GOY
...
Hello cuck.
How's that buyer's remorse treating ya?
I would like a link to the article saying that the human eye can barely see above 60hz
low quality bait
https:/common-sense.com/
But the human eye can't see past 240p...
/thread
It actually can.
>the human eye can barely see above 60hz
I take it you've never used a 120hz monitor before
Fuck it I'm not typing it again, I'll just paste what I wrote yesterday
When I tested both side by side, I could see the extra smoothness dragging windows around and such.
In gaming, not so much. 60hz feels good enough for me, and with a lot of shit going on, I have the actual gameplay to focus on, rather than how much smoother it feels.
All in all, for me it's still not worth the extra, especially because high frequency panels with good color reproduction are still somewhat scarce, and it would force me to buy a beefier gpu to match.
>This thead
total lack of knowledge. not sure if bait...
144hz freesync here, can't turn back to sub 75...
ITT: Sour grapes
>I'm never leaving 1080p
OK, what does that have to do with refresh rates?
144 Hz gsync user here, when a game drops anywhere near 60 fps it feels to me like 30 does to a 60fag
If you bought anything >60Hz you are retarded
Please stop bumping your own thread
>reddit keeps falling for the bait
>Human eye almost can't see beyond 60fps.
tell that to a fighter pilot lol
good brainwashed goy
Why
what is placebo?
That is different, that is when you adrenaline rushes and you see more. But for a fucking video game even 60 is much
what's the deal with 144Hz, I mean why EXACLY 144? Why not 140, 145 or 150? WTF?!??!
Nope I was thinking something on my laptop had broken when I tried to play quake on it because it felt so sluggish despite running at over 100 fps.
Eventually figured it out, it was the refresh rate. When I turned my main rigs refresh rate down to 60 Hz I experienced the exact same awful feeling even at high fps. For me, anything under about 90 feels unplayable in shooting games. For casual non 3D games 60 is still OK and doesn't give me a headache
Divisible by 24, lad
>meme 24fps
technology has failed
Daily reminder that movies in cinemas run at a whoppng 24Hz. Yes you heard that right.
Once 60Hz movies were shown here and there ppl complained about the nice 24Hz cinema feel was gone.
I'd rather have IPS 60Hz monitor than TN 144Hz
>not buying 2/4k 60Hz display and overclocking to 75Hz
You are retarded
>anecdote
show me scientific proof
That's exactly what a placebo is.
No it's evidence that 60 Hz is too low for being playable because it gives you a headache
That I don't think it's worth it?
>only gives YOU a headache
That's exactly what a placebo is.
You fag
The human eye CANNOT SEE MORE THAN 24 CINEMATIC FPS
OP IS A SHILL
user IS A GOOD GOY
I've simply been spoiled by the superior smoothness of higher refresh rates.
Same idea follows: guy eats steak every day and thinks ground beef isn't good. Some other fag (you) hasn't had steak and thinks ground beef is fine
>Some other fag (you) hasn't had steak and thinks ground beef is fine
What is projecting?
i'm full, its been meh.
>What is projecting?
Jecting a project obviously
If the human eye can't see more than 24 fps then why can you tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps?
>:/
hahahahahahahahahahaha
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
But the human eye doesn't see frames, and even if it did it would be over 300fps.
You want to poll a group of people or something?
I don't know about you but the eye doctor tested my ocular refresh rate and it was 240mhz, you just need a high speed camera to see the shutter opening and closing
