>Solidity any serious work with it? is it as bad as people say?
I contribute to open source projects regularly, and that is where I write the most C.
My day job involves Golang, and I have worked with C, C++, Java, Python, and Scala at previous companies.
As for personal projects I am working on custom firmware for an old TI-83 I still have from high school. It will include a more pimped out symbol manipulation system that allows more complex calculations in addition to simple arithmetic and graphing. I am using sdcc to compile C for the Z80 architecture after I decided that hand-coding my own compiler would be a waste of time.

You use GNOME terminal, and emacs. Doesn't it annoy you that GNOME intercepts loads of the emacs shortcuts in readline prompts? Or am I remembering that wrong, does it not do that?
