Muslims had a lot more advanced technology than most of the Visigoths and were pretty good at sailing and maths and agriculture and city management.
But they didn't like pork or wine so we kicked them out after learning what they had to offer.
Muslim civilisation was very advanced before recently, and in the 12th century they had schools and libraries and gardens. Then it all went to shit. Don't forget you use the numbers that THEY introduced to modern civilisation.
