I want to turn this off right now.
type "badidea"
Replace your current antivirus software with Common Sense 2018.
i'm not running any av.
all of the browsers are doing it now, safari, chrome, chromium. i need to get onto this website
>cannot trust the website
>want to download and install untrusted firmware and give it root access on your own network hardware
why though?
this site is not safe, read the warning
bad idea to tell people that
lol
It looks like they let the SSL cert lapse because development is basically dead.
What's that alternative that is basically the continuation again? LEDE or something?
no it's been this way for about 2 months. i'm fucking tired of it and i need to get on there to update some shit
The certificate didn't just lapse, it was actively revoked.
Proceed with extreme caution.
Isn't the download from github?
it's openwrt. it's a decent open source project. google is censoring openwrt on purpose because they want you to use proprietary software
i need to get onto the forums and device information pages
just open it in firefox :^)
You cannot currently verify that you are talking to the real openwrt or someone malicious pretending to be them.
Certificate revocation has nothing to do with google, you can verify the issue using openssl on the command line.
i don't really care. desu the thing that's really angering me is that they won't even let you proceed at your own risk. it's complete censorship for an arbitrary, vague, and unconfirmed reason
...
>stopping people from interacting with potentially malicious sites is censorship
Until they start politicizing certs I don't think you have to worry about that.
Also firefox doesn't have this problem
This reminds me of how
>blog.Sup Forums.org
doesn't work anymore because it goes into a page loop, despite being hosted on tumblr
kek this
I dont know why people use chromium based browsers
>Until they start politicizing certs
they already are, and it's only going to get worse. you watch.
>source needed
None of these people who would bitch about this stuff would be technically competent enough to even think about that
>too illiterate and retarded to understand something
>must be secret google conspiracy
you cracked the case user.
>trusting a megacorp you grew up with
>when you use chrom* but say someone else trusts a megacorp
Good one user
Try ddwrt instead, OP. Openwrt is kill
