the stability, support, and functionality of ubuntu, with the lightweight yet stable and featureful xfce desktop (great for former windows users), with an optimized kernel and set of default applications specifically for audio and video work.

The actual fuck is wrong with you OP?

it's what I fucking want you pig

Arch with a low latency kernel
Davinci Resolve
WINE for gaymes

What has a low latency kernel? I thought it'd come down to something like Pulse audio as far as audio is concerned.

Gentoo

PulseAudio is absolute shit for audio work.
You want JACK.

Well, Pulse Audio was just an example.

So far, google has only talked about low latency kernels for audio and nothing else. Is that the only benefit?

You only need JACK if you're doing live audio editing. If you're just editing existing audio files, say with audacity, then PulseAudio is sufficient.

Windows 10

Well you don't get what you want do ya bitch?

Android is the closest you have.

this does:

Can anyone rec a good GarageBand-like Android app?

Ubuntu studio
