Leaving aside we've had such a thing as British immigration in Mexico the guy's father is obviously the American part of the equation.
That's brown, not tanned, he's dark even for an Iberian, but fair enough, let's say he's a full blooded "white" American and not in any way a Mexican mestizo despite a long tradition for those characters in Westerns.
