Art, starting a business, sports, lifting weights, reading, making shit out of wood or something, anything really that isn't videogames is much better

Hell, taking random free courses on the internet and just following a long for an hour a day everyday gets you much further than videogames.

It's just a waste of time. I speak from experience, I've wasted insane amounts of time on WoW and I regret all of it. I had fun yes, but just thinking about doing anything else during that time, even at minimal efficiency like doing it drunk would've gotten me very good

By far the most popular games REQUIRE a certain amount of time and learning investment in order to advance. That's why when people say "i play in le moderation" is for the most part bs.

In WoW you CAN'T play "a few hours a week", you will simply never hit level cap let alone get anywhere near good gear. With mobas you will never have good enough mechanics to not get fucked and go 0/30 and be bored because you keep losing

Their cost of living is lower and they have no social lives, dreams or aspirations and so their managers/companies force them to spend literally all of their time in the team houses practicing.

Yes I know but playing those games requires a certain level of skill on mechanics. If you don't play for two weeks or so you strongly lose your skill which you need to refresh and if you play casually you'll jsut be really shit and have no time
