Screw your puny shit mobo.

2600 series
whats this? it says the hitachi has 100 relocated sectors and the toshiba only has 1
This shit right here.
>he cant into smart
Look at the raw values, user.
Looks like both drives suck. Why is the Toshiba supposed to be worse?
that appears to be a mainboard
we've had those for a while now
>bad ass technology
>posts a consumer-grade, gaymen motherboard
>buying 3tb drives
lmao
What's wrong with that? I have 6 of them, simply because they are the optimum on the B/$ spectrum (or at least were when I bought them).
Tsk...
3tb drivers are an unrealiable platter clusterfuck, for serious realiability you need to use 1tb single platter hdds. The "seagate is le bad" meme happened because of 3tb drives.
More like bad ass-technology amirite
If that is the case, I sure haven't noticed yet. I've had those drives for years, not a single problem. They're WD, though, not Seagate.
>plastic toy
>no metallic parts
Meh
nothing personnel kid
Do these actually even work as heatsinks?
Someone needs to put an end to this.
>Deathstar
Just buy the used Ultrastar you pleb
>pick up motherboard
>die
Are these motherboards Commiefornia-compliant?
How retarded can a mobo look...omg
...
>all of technology on that motherboard is light years more advanced than the first motherboards.
>all except the stupid clock battery.
As far as I know my Seagate has been working well (Had a sector error some time ago)
>gamershit with fake magazine heatsink deco
did you mean bad, ass technology user
this
fpgas are also badass
What does the magazine add?
>sector error some time ago
>working well
Pick one. Also post the "current pending sector count" from SMART.
ammo capacity
Out of the way. Actually useful tech coming through. I really wish they continued making this board beyond X99. Now everything is just cancerous RGB faggotry everywhere.
>silicon technology develops faster than any other technology
Any other news to share, Cpt. Obvious?
>1366
>not posting the sr-2
>SNSV
Not even once
>I know nothing about motherboards, the post
OK kid.
>battery technology hasn't advanced at all
Didn't know they had internet under rocks.
At least that model doesn't look like pic related.
What kind of battery do you suggest they use instead, though? Lithium cells are pretty good.
Is a battery really still required though? Every machine in this day and age can get it's time by network, or other means. Hell, you can even grab it from the air if you want. Also, computers these days never go really off (there's always power on the board), especially laptops. For the small possible breaks in between a small supercap should do the trick. That is, if having the time pre-boot really is that important.
Sure.
Ok, I was think the sector you had an error with had been flagged as pending reallocation, but apparently not. Either way, having even a single sector error ever is not what I'd call normal.
but why kill a tested and proven technology that has no negative impact on performance? That watch battery will easily last the entire life span of the motherboard. It guarantees that all settings and time will be kept and overall it's a simple idea that's held up for a long time.
Arguing to remove or change the battery on motherboards is like defending the taking away of the headphone jack in phones these days. You lose something and gain nothing.
It may not be strictly "required", but it's certainly nice to be able to have proper log timestamps prior to the network coming up. Also, it's not like there aren't such things as network outages, or off-network use of computer, like laptops on planes and such things. It's certainly not the least useful thing on a motherboard.
No problems with it. It's just funny to see that big ol' battery still sitting on state of the art machines. Discussing possible better ways can't hurt either.
>supercap
I'd guess the main argument for a Lithium cell over a supercap is just that it doesn't hurt very much if you accidentally short it out, since those small Lithium cells can't deliver much current.
You get more reliability out of 1tb barracudas you idiot
ah, so that's why people add windows to their cases
just break in case of emergency
You missed a comma between "bad" and "ass"
Lithium cell is still most likely cheaper than a super cap since there is no need to engineer a charging circuit
I wish they still made cool shit like this
I don't think you need a charging circuit for a supercap. It's not a LiPo cell.

>thinking he knows anything about motherboards when he considers SNSV "Workstation" boards with gayming consumer chipsets good.
Ever heard of Supermicro?
They don't make WS line motherboards?
That fucking sucks, some people wants high-end features without tryhard "ROG" gaymer garbage splattered all over the place.
Wait has Asus discontinued WS mobos?
Gaming and RGB bullshit make more money apparently.
I'm not usually tempted by stupid shit pic related exception

The struggle of wanting a mobo with quality features and not covered in LEDs
Best post in the thread by far.
why do you post this in every thread
and i know its you doing all this because you use the same file name for every post
guns are cool if your 14 year olds only
You just know it's a salty Intel fanboy still crying about ryzen
They still make WS boards. I think they came out a few hours ago actually. asus.com
yeah but i find it funny hes so butthurt about ryzen all he does with his life is spam that image in every thread
want to make contact so i can see how much of a sperg he really is
ASUS is shit
Looks like pic related
Oh god i thought I was in /k/
Gentlemen, I present to you the most bad ass laptop that 2005 has to offer.
The Alienware Area 51 M7700 (Clevo D900T)
It's super THICC
Jesus fuck
I almost don't believe you.

Nvidia Geforce go7800 GTX

God has forsaken us.
Dude, I used to have a pentium 4 laptop. Holy hell that thing used to get hot.
Mfw Im the only guy I know of that built his PC with a supermicro board. I thought I'd be using it for gayming but turns out I use it for development more. I grew out of vidya at the exact same time that I built a PC for gayming. At least I didn't skimp on a processor like most Sup Forumsirgins do.
You must have gotten laid often
Looks like a tasteless junk.

>two optical drives
>molex power connector

What is that?
Triggered you're autisms?
aerospike rocket engine
What's with the molex hate? Never understood this meme. I'm using a molex adapter to power one of my air flow fans in my case. Works for me.
:^)
>Rest assured to stay on top of your game, because the fluid actions will stay uncompromised
what did they mean by this?
1) If you're anxious you won't be at peak performance, so just relax.
2) No one is just going to go grabbing a rifle unprepared, so you can guarantee that the fluid actions through and around the handle are secured.
Trying to figure out how the two connect.
The fleshlight of Godzilla.
>gayyymur asthetics
Actually using this shit must be fucking embarrassing.
Who other than 8 year olds would buy something this cringeworthy?
