hello pajeet

B-but I do, senpai

I'm European

Hello Ahmed

I remember when I was poor and I had to use pajeetware like that to get updates on my phone. Thankfully now I can afford an iPhone

I'm on lineage right now.

What kind of turbo losers wastes time with this shit

actually doing something still makes you less of a turbo loser than wasting your time calling them out

Whats the best current phone in $200-300 range with best custom ROM support? Moto G5 Plus?

>using pajeet products ever
no thanks

Spend $100 more and get a iPhone SE. LineageOS is for teenagers.

Because S8's tw is just fine

because it lags as hell on my nexus 2012.

Check out some chink phones like xiaomi redmi note 4 on xda, they have a lot of activity and /spg/,/csg.
Iphone is for tech illiterate, I though we were clear on that on Sup Forums

B-But i am...

Brazileiro e tudo corno

I would install it, but I'm not sure if it's supported on my Alcatel Pixi 4.

htc 10

What's the best bloat-free ROM? Currently using MIUI and don't see any reason to switch.

Was thinking about getting the Iphone 6s plus but not sure. I kind of like being able to customize my phone a little more and install the roms.

Yeah I'd really like to get the redmi note 4 but I live in US. I've heard can be hard to get service for it.

Oh that i don't know about, buddy, I all I ever dealt with was europa

> implying LineageOS is ever gonna release an Oreo version
Lineage is dead

it's literally the worst.
themes = trash
bloated features
etc.
i used plain AOSP until i got a real phone

I am. It reboots randomly and I can only take one photo per boot.

>boot
>take photo
>works
>try to take another photo
>camera app crashes
Repeat to infinity

Yea afaik tmobile is pretty much only one that works and with 2G 3G only. I dont wanna pay that much a month and not get full service.

Because sadly is inferior to Miui 9 on RN4 global

This. Most of the device maintainers are pajeets. The best option is to use pure AOSP.

>It reboots randomly
That's STILL an issue? Glad I switched to Paranoid

Because I'm using a better version

At least for me it is. Probably once every 72 hours.

The camera app doesn't crash for me but the random reboots thing does happen. It's rare (maybe once a week) but it happens.

I had the same issue on my old phone a Samsung Note 3, with Cyanogenmod. Now I have an OnePlus 3t with Paranoid Android, works much better.

I'm using lineage os built by the microg project, and it works wonderfully.

the moto Sup Forums 5+ is a great choice. I bought one for my dad and it really impressed me.

Which device? It works perfectly on my moto x pure. I've had maybe one random restart in the past month.

>linage
i remember that game...

No Lineage support for the Xperia Z2 Tablet, so I have to make do with Carbon.

>x no works
>y is bugged
>you need wipe data, cache, dalvik, art, system, data, bla bla bla
>bug you tell me :^)

No, thanks! Also, Google HAL camera and etc is not possible to port for custom roms.

VertexOS master race.

>best custom ROM support?
>current year

don't even bother with it, just pay up for a new phone.

camera as always known be closed source no way every camera sensor manufacturer giving away source code or what sony called it jpeg engine/camera processing software/drm keys/ camera algorithms. Camera crashing is a features since cyanogenmod.

too scared to root my phone
honestly have never done it before
ZTE Axon 7 2017U

UMA DELICIA

There’s no stable ROM for my OPO, it’s nightly shit. That’d be fine for a weekend phone to mess around in but that’s but my daily driver and I need that POS for work.

Wut

You can check officially supported devices on the download section of the lineageOS website
I'd guess Xiaomi mi 5s/s plus is what you're after

There are a number of ports of the Google HDR+ camera for devices with the same processor

> UNOFFICIAL

Yeah, but you can't use it without gapps.

Substratum support when?

It will go "official" once they release their 15.0 branch. There is none atm.
cmxlog.com/15/ also developer is not a Pajeet.

Because it drains battery 3x faster on my S2.

Developers said never actually

What's the rom with the least bloat/saves the most battery?

>No OMS support.
>Shit battery life.

When my phone no longer receives security updates I will. Until then, the default ROM is fine.

Mi5s or Moto G5+. Moto G5 if you don't want to pay as much.
That's really it.

What the frig
Why

Nitrogen OS

A current gen Motorola or older Nexus device. Both are really easy to install custom ROMs and have a lot of custom ROM support.

What is this subtle merchant in your status bar and how can I get it?

Sorry, don't remember and can't find where I saw it

Same on S3.

Kek, thanks, can't unsee it now.

I think it's Phonograph

I have an S8

>9gag
>instagram
>9gag

in the trash you go

If the quality was the same as the Pixel, no one would buy any Pixel. This is just a kludge.

.t google shill
You won't know until you try it faggot

From what I've seen, it's better than stock camera on most phones

Not supported on my device.

Because its a failed spinoff of a failed spinoff of cyanocuck.

>using gapps on a custom rom

You need play services for apps to function properly dipshit its part of the Android API.

This is entirely untrue. Fuck off

If you knew anything at all about how play services worked you would know that its extremely fucking true.

A small example is optional services built into the api for things like location tracking that would normally get a response from play services saving battery waking your phone for milliseconds. Without play services it will wake up for god knows how long maybe 10+ seconds. Its the difference between having 3-4 day standby time and a day of standby time.

>chinese phone meaning pajeet maintainer
>updates every week
And yet
>ambient display never ever fixed
>quick tile bug never ever fixed
>third party tiles not lighting up when in use, never ever fixed

it is absolutely must, it is even in microcuckG. You can't escape the botnet.

>what is microg
>how is my android working without having ever installed any gApps package?

micro g is a thing

>third party tiles not lighting up
what? what is this function? tiles lighting up? what

see
even it has propitiatory blobs to function properly. You literally can't escape google. Go google it if you don't believe me.

I'd rather have the entire play services so my apps work properly. There are more features than just location services.

I'm using AOSPA because Lineage hasn't been updated for months for my device. Not as good a LOS but still better than fucking MIUI

f-droid.org/en/packages/org.microg.nlp/

Because shitty Lumia.

because OTA updates are not working on xiaomi redmi 3™, it looks ugly and has black gradient on walpaper

like?

it still communicates to google baka

That does not.

But I am

>install
>camera stops working
>try to go back to stock
>image isn't installable on custom recovery
How is this trash is the best custom ROM?

Y

Yeah, why aren't you using the best custom ROM, OP?*

One plus one (bacon) if that means anything

In impressed by how install-and-forget LOS is. CM was honestly junk back in the day; amazingly buggy, abysmal battery drain, random reboots all day, etc. Had no such issues with LOS, it's just rock solid. And my device is even maintained by a pajeet. How about that.

Unlocking bootloader and rooting your phone are different things. The latter isn't required to install a Custom ROM. Unlocking the bootloader is pretty easy and once you installed a Custom recovery nothing can go wrong anymore

b-but that's not dirty unicorns

The way I understood it was that some phones required you to root it before you could install a custom recovery....

Am I mistaken? Maybe I have it backwards....

Call me when it has a decent theme engine

>themes
what are you? 12?

You mean the OMS support native android O?
