My city created the bus rapid transit system used all around the world which is basically a mix of light rail/metro with buses.
Curitiba uses 30% less fuel per capita compared to other Brazilian cities of the similar size.

We got trams and buses in my city. There's a idea for a sky tram for the students villages and a fast city trains but that's plans for the far future.

They started riding with electric buses in my town. They are really comfy. No noise and have wifi. Couldn't find a pic but they look the same as a normal bus.
