For performance: download Chrome/Chromium and Firefox, run any benchmark you want (or if you want real world usage then open the network monitor and compare load speed) and Firefox will lose every time unless you cheat by using cache or similar
For multi-process: Chrome uses one tab per website (or maybe domain), Firefox doesn't. Chrome processes uses like 10-30 MB each while Firefox uses 150-200 MB for each. Even Internet Explorer had better multi-process than Firefox

I've been using Seamonkey for years.
I'm pessimistic now that Firefox has shaken off the customizable side of its backend.
They try to team up with pale meme or with other forks, but i doubt they will have much luck on the long run.
Both FF and Chrome are complete shit. Both browsers have severe loyalty problems. They don't serve you, but their maker.
Ok, so, since switching to firefox I've had two big things happen.
Far less tab crashes.
Far less ram usage.
I can't tell the difference in speed or really just general usage. So who the fuck cares? I'm not rubbing up against 16gb of RAM with just my research tabs open.
