He could be white and I'd still call him a nigger.
good the internet was probably the worst thing ever to happen to human society.
Forced Cuckage Commission.
We're gonna need a bigger mug.
Now there's a man who's bought and paid for. Don't you burgers have conflict of interest or no-confidence balances?
Maybe Greenspan should talk some sense into him, if greenspan can admit to being wrong maybe he can change Poo's mind
Ya niggers might know tech but you for sure as shit don't get politics, law or economy.
The thing is and what the Leftist fags don't realize, is that the internet has been running since the 70s and 80s without government regulation. NN is regulations by the FCC (who ruled under Obummers that the Internet is under their jurisdiction) requiring ISPs NOT to filter/throttle content. Basically, it was supposed to force ISPs not to be censoring douchebags, even when competition would prohibit them from doing this anyway.
Title 2 passed because Reddit and Google convinced fucking retards that "Netflix rates would go up without it" because AT&T was threatening to charge Netflix appropriately for the amount of traffic that they use.
Title 2 actually put the internet under the control of the FCC to regulate, causing unnecessary overhead on ISP's, creating a barrier to entry for smaller resellers, and gave the FCC the ability to censor the internet.....but, Hillary lost and Trump won't censor.
Whether your experience is good or not is just that. Personal experience.
These soy boys are literally hyperventilating because it's a Republican in charge of the FCC. If net neutrality gets axed, it will just go back to the way it was before which will barely affect the consumer.
We have never had an internet that had the previous bit of FCC regulation we call Net Neutrality fully implemented yet ISPs have been kept under control by the FCC and FTC with the pre-NN regulations in place. The issue is riddled with the most egregious disinformation by people who take no time in looking at the actual laws in question.
More government means more chance for corruption. The internet is already regulated by CDA and DMCA. It is also subject to standard Antitrust and RICO laws in the case of monopolies.
Why does Sup Forums think Barack Obama would rush to agree to have the FCC, add yet another, more authoritative corrupt government hand on the wheel? Why would FANG?
If you want to tackle monopolistic practices, use the regular tools, not a backdoor to censorship (like we already see on broadcast TV with the FCC) - why would we want that? It's hard to believe there are useful idiots who fall for this shit. The internet was fine from date of invention to 2015.
lets not even forgot that Barry's regulatin has never been in full effect so far.
scaremongering by Google, Facebook etc.
Will this lead to the rise of alternate networks?
go away shill
i'm just trying to explain a simple politics and authoritative government overreach to a bunch of geek nerds sorry. Barack Obama's actions were almost always corrupt and overreaching, that's a fact, and internet was fine from its creation up to to day - and there was not a time when the reuglation would have been fully applied.
i notice a lack of arguments in your post btw.
The sooner ameritards get kicked off the internet the better. Let's go pajeet!
Besides, law creation through unelected bureaucrats is deeply concerning as the division of power gives that right to legislative body of state and federal government, elected officials.
Push YOUR Congressman to actually vote on a REAL bill instead of demanding unelected bureaucrats dictate how your internet is going to be, this way you can held them accountable too.
>gorrubjun ecks di
Sup Forums is politically and technologically illiterate
FCC also has a history of censoring radio and television, and this bunch you want to regulate Internet.. baka. That appeal court with its decision did play a linguistic mind game on all the peoples.
ISPs sending fraudulent data like Comcast did to block services they didn't like is the problem here, not any ridiculous argument about Netflix.
and there are proper ways to deal with that - other than letting unelected bureaucrats of FCC to create law-like regulation.
>More government means more chance for corruption.
Then using the logic of your previous statement , that is illegal should punishable so whats the problem ? it won't happen :^
besides there doesn't seem to be an actual correlation between "more government = more chance for corruption"
if that was true then we wouldn't see Sweden/Norway/Denmark ranked as one of the least corrupt countries in the world.
en.wikipedia.org
>The internet is already regulated by CDA and DMCA. It is also subject to standard Antitrust and RICO laws in the case of monopolies.
Those things encompass some of the things that *happen* on the internet, they don't solely regulate the internet and how it delivers content there is a difference here.
The DCMA can potentially be used to lock you out of your TV, yet no one is claiming that it regulates TVs.
>shills coming out in full force to defend this garbage
>When start taking pro-anti-net neutrality seriously and think its actually valid
>if that was true then we wouldn't see Sweden/Norway/Denmark ranked as one of the least corrupt countries in the world.
lol nigga I'm from Finland, do you want me to hold a class about Finnish corruption for you? One of our local counties is collapsing because they were selling drilling rights under the table, our public project prices triple accidentally, a person ltierally lied about million dollar building budget is getting 25k a month from government, our roads were built by a cartel that was later "found" but they cant break the deal because they would have to give back the fucking roads, we had a dictator for 25 years or so etc.
yeah idk about your Corruption perception index.
Stop SOPA xD
>when you are a political and economical midget who gets scared by the big shilling from Google and Facebook.
pls dont do this mates.
internet as fine before. it will be fine after.
contact your congressman if you want to secure your freedom.
regulation above the touch of the people isnt freedom, its dictatorship
*sucks his boyfriend's soy dick on his iPhone without capitalising the first letter of a sentence*
a-am i rich yet?
>*poos on your internet*
eats it all up
Do you have more than just some anecdotal stuff to back up your claim ?
You understand that I never claimed (or the corruption index) that there was no corruption in those countries ?
It is just a ranking and turns out the US is not even in the top 10.
As to point out one important bit, to stress: FCC is dropping a classification that was made in 2015.
This means that they're not utilities. This means INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS are subject to FTC AGAIN. THIS means they are not protected by law from ANTI-TRUST LAWS.
The FTC was going over it's coming re-adoption of jurisdiction over net neutrality.
The FCC could literally write a rule that I'd about fucking over every net neutrality principle while sending "FUCK YOU" letters to all the consumers, and it won't change a thing that net neutrality will be protected once title II is repealed.
The difference that will be coming is that smaller buisnesses will be able to start up a bit easier, and Google and Comcast won't get a monopoly on fiber with the slight regulation change and Anti Trust law enforcement. Also Google will probably get fucked I'm the add with a huge fine like they did in Europe for prioritization. We couldn't touch them the past couple years because of Title II.
Imagine being so entitled and stupid you actually want the goverment to regulate isps because you hate comcast. You wont be saying how great it is when the government just takes the logs from the isps of your personal data without warrents or special process
>regulation above the touch of the people isnt freedom, its dictatorship
is that right from the NRA playbook ?
Title 2 doesn't let them censor anything. People see regulation and stop reading there. Not all regulations are the same. And net neutrality prevents ISPs from censoring traffic. Like they've done in the past.
our head of drug police, your DEA - was the largest drug dealer in Finland before he got arrested two years ago or so, top kek. I'm saying you have bit too rosy idea of north Europe.
>big shilling from Google and Facebook.
instead listen to the shilling from verizon and at&t
Verizon and AT&T wont shill this. They will be AGAIN subject to ANTI TRUST LAWS. Which means monopoly breaking.
>shilling from Google and Facebook
retard youre shilling to use limited websites, log off Sup Forums for a little bit and do some actual research.
"alternate networking" in America is terrorism
...
Stop scaremongering and claim your argument.
Instead let the goverment run the internet.
why are indians so ugly
Sorry but me and the rest of the country said fuck socialism when we voted trump in. We dont want to be europe. Deal with it niglet
>rest of the country
You mean the minority ?
>I dont have a problem with my ISP's and government controlling how I use the internet
Yes. The internet was demonstrably not fine before, but the shill in this thread will pretend that it was.
Commyfornia and new york btfo your votes dont count suck dick pinko fags
...
>Title 2 passed because Reddit and Google convinced fucking retards that "Netflix rates would go up without it" because AT&T was threatening to charge Netflix appropriately for the amount of traffic that they use.
Except that the traffic being used was already paid off by the ISP subscriber. ATT et. al. were just double dipping because they could.
>The sooner ameritards get kicked off the internet the better. Let's go pajeet!
We lead by example, if this gets implemented, your own government will follow sooner than later. You are welcome.
...
>was entirely wrong
>changes argument
>>I dont have a problem with my ISP's and government controlling how I use the internet
That's why I don't fear removing this.
Removing their entitlement as utility will bring them BACK under RULE OF LAW and antitrust laws can be used against them NOW.
Currently you cant!
...
and you cant charge the fucking retarded ISP for its practice because its being fucking protected by Title II.
Now can you fucking think why removing this is good? and putting ISPs under rule of law again?
Sucks being in country run by Jews
It's always cute when libtards try to steal our memes.
I love liberal tears, its been a good year. Buckle up for the next 7
Keep dreaming yuropoor, internet IS in America you retard
>rule literally never went into effect
>people still getting all butthurt
You better buckle up for the foreseeable future if the poo gets his way.
I have no understanding why do you Americans want Internet be regulated, not even by laws, but by unelected bureaucrats regulations - by the same regulatory body FCC that has made TV and Radio a joke with their regulation.
some of it went
you apply anti trust laws to isps
how convenient isn't it :v=
Jesus christ, youre beyond help
...
same fagging
>$5 has been deducted from your Sup Forums account
Stay mad pinko
yes? i never pretended to be anyone else i just find this entire "surrending our freedom to bureaocracy" thing really sad and wish you didn't do it.
>i want isps to be protected and unreachable so they can consolidate their monopoly.
It's not so obvious to me since I'm not American either, what's your argument against that post?
arranged marriages. same reason east Asians are ugly.
>doesn't know what samefagging is
get out you fucking newfag and go back to faggit
Why do amerifats think deregulation ever works?
>>i want isps to be protected and unreachable so they can consolidate their monopoly.
its bad because fox news told me it is.
lol watch fox and alex jones will be at the top for news.
capitalism turns everything into shit
do yanks actually use the term "people/persons of colour"? sounds retarded
>and you cant charge the fucking retarded ISP for its practice because its being fucking protected by Title II.
because Title II was not completely about Netflix (it had something to do with Comcast actually when they tried to push their OTT as exempt from caps while Netflix content did not) but about ISP access: you see, Telcos and MSOs had a great idea: internet premium, were some big ballers could pay additional fees to the ISP in exchange for some benefits, like prioritized traffic or exclusion from subscriber caps.
This meant that only the big players with lots of money would get access to these paid benefits, choking any other ecommerce/business/content provider on the internet as they would not be able to afford these fees or would have to significantly increase their rates just to run the business as it is now.
Net neutrality is the biggest meme issue. Literally nothing would change either way and our infrastructure will remain shit. The only people who care are porn-addicted piratefags and redditers.
>infrastructure
NN was never about that.
It was about treating all traffic equally
Because we have the most freedoms, best military, highest gdp and do what the fuck we want
Kek as your post from you capitist computer on the capitalist website. Did you forget Sup Forums isnt state sponsored?
they argue that there is incentive for verizon spending money on infrustructure with nn in place. they spend billions in new line and cord cutters will give all the profits to netflix.
>richest country on earth
>citizens live in perpetual poverty
>at the bottom of industrialised countries in almost all quality of life metrics
Where does all the money go?
lol so it was the free market that came up with the computer?
I said highest gdp you retarded fuck. Not biggest faggot nanny state that buys all the local niggers free homes directly from my tax dollars
the jews, of course.
...
Holy shit, that's awful. I'm an American and that statistic really puts shit in perspective for me.
GDP has literally zero relevance as a statistic by itself.
>he doesn't know
>Where does all the money go?
they spend it frivolously. Its not that they don't have enough income to save, they just have terrible habits, excellent purchasing power and so many options for consumerism. Americans also have credit options for almost anything which creates mass debt cycles.
Agreed, but ISPs keep arguing that if NN is not removed, they will stop investing in infrastructure. It is a shitty bluff but wall street believes them for some reason.
Yes we also call tall people "people of height" and fat people "people of size" and old people "people of age"
see in a godless, classless republic like our own, the only thing that matters is superficial appearances and we divide the people accordingly
Maybe to a retarded armchair economist communist
I work with people making 80k a year who dont have 500 dollars in saving. You cant force people to not be retarded.
...
>being a retard armchair capitalist is any better
thanks anyway paul
>Anarchist Commentaries
This, it's unbelievable how common it is for Americans to just live in perpetual debt. Americans never make big purchases outright, they always get things like furniture/cars/appliances on some sort of finance plan, and when they're in the store their first choice of payment method is their credit card (which inevitably ends up maxed out and they just pay the interest on it forever). It's like noone told Americans that they can buy things with their own money instead of borrowing from banks.
