Is there such a thing as good rubber domes keyboards?
Reason I'm asking is, I'm looking for a quiet keyboard, and the quietest are still rubber domes. Quiet maniacal keyboards are like 200 bucks+

At work I use the RD keyboard that comes with the office PC, its an Acer brand, full size, quiet and I don't think about it at all. I have a filco MJ2 with MX Blacks & 2mm o-rings but if I had to swap it for a rubber dome, I wouldn't care at all
How often do you have to re-lube that shit?
Get MX blacks, lube them and put on 2mm O-rings, it'll be pretty quiet

I use Cherry MX SIlent switches, they're almost as quiet as rubber domes but retain the feel of mech.

Yes. The Logitech K120 is the best rubber dome keyboard ever encountered. Ten years old and still feeling like the day I got it.
And that's despite it's from Logitech. Chances are it's their only good product.
I tried a lot of mechanical keyboards and I only can say have fun with your long-term RSI and optionally hearing damage. You must really be butter-fingered to like them.

i have one of those generic kb9908 keyboards and its fucking loud. my mother always nags at me how loud it is and how fast i type and how hard i hit the enter key. Im not saying its a good keyboard its just what i grew up with and am used to.
