Americans with a funny accent
Well yeah pretty much
Is there even a difference in culture apart from Canadians not being able to package their milk properly?
Canada would be Peru without nature?
most people in algeria think that canada is a majority french-speaking country
it's more like france than america to them
Canadians have some unique qualities. That mostly comes from Quebec though.
Yeah, pretty much
You're the diet pepsi to America's full fat coke
Coke doesn't have much fat
It's what we call normal coke
That's silly
Besides poutine they don't have any cultural input for the rest of Canada. They're just French speaking Canadians really.
And then you get pissy when called "amerifats".
Depends on where in Canada, if you're in Quebec, the Maritimes, or Atlantic Canada, yes, it's very clearly a different country. People talk, think, behave, and eat, differently than they do in America.
As you go west from Quebec, into Ontario, the Praries, and B.C., it becomes harder to notice any discernable difference. They do exist, but are subtle and probably unnoticeable to foreigners except maybe other Anglos who are familiar with Canada and America as well as their own similar Anglo culture and can therefore draw comparisons among the 3
What is Maritime culture? Funny accents and getting employment insurance?
It's in the songs, stories, cuisine, language and general behaviour of the region.
>What would Canada be without nature?
This plus history
>Besides poutine they don't have any cultural input for the rest of Canada.
You forgot about funny accents, céline dion and garou
Literally the only differences between the USA and Canada
>French
>Business
>Kind heart
>Softie
>Gay
>Maple
>Polar
>Igloos
Nope. Not American.
Plenty of funny accents outside of Quebec.
Wow, the country of LITERALLY CURRENT YEAR didn't realize what that image is implying?
90% of Libyans will say Canada is in Europe
the other 10% will either say it's in north america or think it's in asia
We have ice natives
lol
more civilised, comfy and cold
No we don't call normal coke "full fat coke" wtf
btw like 99% of the people i talk to think USA is a continent cuz its called america
they think its a unified continent being a nation or smth
like they will be like
"what do you mean canada is in america? isnt canada a seperate country?"
America without inhabitants
You are irrelevant Americans to us.
Not talking about our Québécois cousins of course.
Actually no. Most people that hate USA dont dislike canada. But you are known for hockey most
Fucking roach
ah well, that's partially the US' fault I suppose. So much confusion could have been saved if we had been creative enough to come up with a name.
unified continent would be pretty cool though qbqhtbh
I think of americans as rebel canadians
Shut the fuck up.
Even the name "Canada", even your FUCKING LEAF comes from French Canadians.
You literally stole your whole "Canadian identity" from them.
>Canada
>French
LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY HONHONHON
Canada is Anglo let them be mate
You are similar but better :DDD
Indeed, let me tell you about "your" country:
>In 1535, indigenous inhabitants of the present-day Quebec City region used the word to direct French explorer Jacques Cartier to the village of Stadacona
>Cartier later used the word Canada to refer not only to that particular village, but the entire area subject to Donnacona
>From the 16th to the early 18th century "Canada" referred to the part of New France that lay along the St. Lawrence River
TOTALLY NOT A FRENCH INPUT LOL
For me, Canada = Québec. But that might be a language thing.
desu we are basically just a disobedient collection of states that refused union.
Fuck you.
The US is basically just a disobedient collection of states that rebelled against their rightful rulers
Anglo identity here is basically "look how English and Protestant we are!"
maybe 200 years ago
now its the opposite
we're like Taiwan-China but with better relations
