mostly by coal power

We can't use nuclear powers anymore.

Solar and Gas and Oil

LGBT tears

Based

no working nuke plants? i believe you not
pretty sure it's no new ones

>tfw when 30% of your country's power comes from coal

jokes on you, coalburners are the prime indicators of a first world society

oil shale

Water.

absolutely no working nuclear plants in Japan right now.
in the first place, we shouldn't build the nuclear plant on the islands where big earthquakes often occur.

Coal

I think there are a few approved for restart including sendai

Hydro

My state is powered by hydro.

years ago some idiot thought it was a good idea to buy giganticfuckton amounts of natural gas from russia

we can't even use it efficiently so we just burn most of it for energy. and we can't cancel the deal until 2023 kek

Almigthy divine nuclear power is what fuels Grandiose France, the greatest republic that ever was and ever will be

feel bad. our descendants must blame that decision of restarting the plants.

>2023
civil war: the country

japan uses too much power for a whole system shutdown so the idea is to check them and restart them a little by little

My state is one of the biggest producers of coal, yet it also has the most nuclear power plants.

Water mostly.

But the gov been building Nuclear plants and wind farms.

Hydroelectric from Quebec, they have a big river up there..

>restart them a little by little
There must be another Fukushima during my life time period. Pic is related. the red lines shows fault lines of earthquakes (high potential area of big earthquake).

>Be Scottish
>Get to ride on wind farm blades everyday
>now get this
>for free

also the government gives me free money to study at university on op of paying my tuition fees

Mostly gas and coal

the fuck is wrong with you Sup Forumsacks
erryone was sucking on me over a non joke I made the other day for no reason.
nobody gives a fuck now to a real joke I made that counters a leaf.

>now get this
what

This is old. We've got some new reactors since then.

Blue is nuclear

where did they get the money for those farms

slavs and nuclear
WHAT
COULD
POSSIBLE
GO
WRONG

It's just hot stuff that boils water and powers steam turbine. Calm down. Why aren't you freaking out over coal/hydro power that is causing the actual damage?

Hydroelectric power

40% nuclear
55% is hydro

This. Illinois is powered the most by coal and nuclear, depending on the season. I still don't believe we have as many nuclear plants as the PNW, however.

Hmph, 80% nuclear.
20 % other (mostly hydraulic).

>mfw Turkey will be Kurd in a short future

>Why aren't you freaking out about what's causing actual damage
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_disaster
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosmos_954

hydro coal can be cleaned up
radiation stays for a bit longer

Coal, we are making few big investitions in our plants
Contrary to appearances coal plants are very ecological, they emit steam to atmosphere, every chemical shit is burned.Ash is used in construction industry.
We should build nuclear plants but nobody wants to have nuclear plant near his town.

nuclear power also emit steam, technically they all do

>Contrary to appearances coal plants are very ecological, they emit steam to atmosphere, every chemical shit is burned.Ash is used in construction industry.
Why are polacks so retarded?

yeah, all of them boil water, the steam powers electric turbines and they produce electric energy

Oh yeah, it's only slavs that have accidents.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1961_Goldsboro_B-52_crash
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_reactor_accidents_in_the_United_States
>there have been at least 56 accidents at nuclear reactors in the United States
>August 2, 1992 Pickering reactor 1 had a heavy water leak from a heat exchanger that resulted in a leak of 2300 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium into Lake Ontario. This was Canada’s worst-ever tritium release, resulting in increased levels of tritium in Toronto drinking water and along the Lake Ontario shoreline from Whitby to Burlington.

Red is hydro
Yellow is nuclear
Blue is wind
The other two are cogeneration

I honestly cannot believe there are civilized countries using coal for power in the current year

Jesus

Note:
These only show the production. Finland also imports considerable amounts of energy. The means of production vary from considerably from Norwegian hydro-electric to Russian atomic energy.

Well, I don't recall reading about how an American nuclear device exploded all over my country like the hot, HIV+ spunk of an African American msm.

IIRC Finland is going coal free recently and would have considerably less coal energy if those useless French fuck would FINNISH THE GODDAMN NUCLEAR PLANT THAT IS OVER 7 YEARS BEHIND SCHEDULE AND MORE THAN 100% OVER BUDGET.

Fuck Areva 2bh.

Yes I mad.

What a cheeky bit of engineering
Man 1 - 0 Mother Nature

Take that hippie scum

Areva is doing shit recently, sorry about that. Thanks for buying our plants.

As for us, obviously we use the glorious nuclear energy

The accidents do happen in the west, regardless. They're way too far in between and if you were to compare nuclear against every other energy source combined, the pollution from nuclear would still be insignificantly small/negligible.
You don't understand how much power it produces for whatever little waste/accidents there do end up happening. And new reactors are way much safer etc.

For all the problems you should be blaming warmongering government and not the nuclear power itself, there're way safer alternatives that are being flat out ignored due to political/military reasons, which wouldn't make sense in a logical world. It's very unfair situation and nuclear power is incredibly great resource that is way under utilised.

We're not a fucking Soviet Ukraine, stupid Chinaman.

Go get a cancer from the Alberta tar sands.

T-that map shows ALL facilities that do something with nuclear fuel, including enrichment and logistics, r-right?
fugg, that's a lot of plants. We can't even keep one running. ;_;

Yugoslavs pushed hard for this monument to be built
Can you explain what it has to do with communism

>Yugoslavs
You're just fucking with me, right?

Yeah, it's a bit of an exageration.
There's actually 59 of them, plus the other cleaning facilities. Here's another map.

Technically even your water is nuclear.

Fukushima was one lucky robot from irraditating the whole Tohoku coast.

Japan should just switch to LNG.

wew

cnn.com/2016/03/08/asia/fukushima-five-year-anniversary/

>green- electricity

How Is this a source?

URANIUM BREADBASKET HERE BITCHES
err coal

>yellow

Uhhhhh

>empty the pool
>clean
>fill again

600 people died in the process, so sad.

95% of austrias energy comes from water

what are you talking about

green is vodne electricity = voda/water

What?

>ywn live innawoods running your shitposting rig off a nearby waterfall

Which part of my post you don't understand? Modern plants ARE ecological, in the near future there will be possible to produce energy from coal without producing any CO2.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_in_the_United_States

Pretty third world, but changing from coal to natural gas because of our fracking oversupply.

if I was in the woods with my squads shot posting rig I would not use it for shitlosting. I would radio for backup into hostile territory

You do understand that you need COAL to power the COAL plant? You know how terrible the mining of it all is? How do you think COAL appears out of fucking sky or what?
It's never going to be good, it can't be.

>muh sequestration
The kind of power you need to have it coming out as nice tidy briquettes or pump it into the ground (which doesn't work) exceeds the power output

Coal plants are WAY better than they used to be, but they are nowhere near what you are saying.

Shitloling

Huh?

It's mildly declining, but it's still important unless there is a great increase in stuff like Nuclear or Water, or if we actually start burning our trash for electricity.

I'm confused

Me too

3rd world

I understand, that's why I said we should build nuclear plants.

...

Nuclear power, well as long as the socialists and greens don't fuck that one up

they at one time even had the absolutely brilliant plan of get this: shutting down our reactors and making up by buying power FROM FRANCE

from reading this thread you can clearly see how retarded it would be

Why are our socialists so retarded, especially when it comes to energy?

That's an object case of Not In My Back Yard
NIMBYs don't care if it's in South Haverbrook as long as it doesn't happen in North Haverbrook where they are.

No
Most of the push for the monstrosity came from people from what was once Yugoslavia.

I remember there was a big shitstorm about some company wanting to open a new nuclear plant around the 2007 election but that fell out of sight pretty quickly. A common theme too, it'll be brought up sporadically and shot down very quickly
Bit sad really, so much land and one of the largest reserves of almost entirely unmined uranium in the world and we still go with coal

wtf i hate australia now

funny thing about that, look where the french (and dutch) have put their reactors

not even a case of NIMBY, just a case of trying to score quick votes with idiots

If memory serves it was Tim Wilson back when he worked for the IPA spitballing about appropriate sites.

One was Bribie Island.

>have tons of uranium
>population is well educated
>public finances are in good order
>relatively close to nuclear technology expert Japan
>refuse to build nuclear energy

It's like you want to make your lives unnecessarily difficult

The complete lack of freedom.

Not going to disagree

and in America they are lynching negros

well japan is also trying to get rid of nuclear power because a 9.0 magnitude earthquake followed by a 40m tsunami which together caused nearly 16,000 deaths also managed to disrupt a nuclear power plant

Add to
>oldest continent on planet: almost no fault lines

Japs are having a hissy fit.

I'm sure the big wigs won't let the masses fuck up Japan's future by going full retard and abandoning nuclear all together.
