I must say I would prefer the city environment in France as opposed to Germany and especially UK. It seems like there are always the right amount of people and the right amount of new to old building ratio.

Yeah. We've got a weirdly active film industry up here. The Witch was filmed up here, same as Letterkenny. Lots more but those are the most recent I can think of.
