Anyone bought from Taobao half a month ago? It was a mistake to buy then, their massive sales apparently clogged all their shipping facilities and my stuff is still stuck in the warehouse.
Jaxon Stewart
fake as FUCK
physically cannot fit 5850mah of capacity in that form factor
Ive tested similar units
theyre old refurbed/recycled batteries that just have a new label stuck on them, theyre thrashed to fuck with cycles
avoid
Cameron Torres
this a decent expectation would be something along the lines of 1500mah, if that
Robert Baker
any chink that claims to fit more than OEM capacity into the same size battery is a fucking lying gook
Jacob Phillips
Original is 3100 mah though. Would it be a wise idea to order it then ask for refund, and getting a new battery for free or it's a complete scam?
Jaxon Murphy
so how fucking terrible is that xiaomi mirrorless
Zachary Nguyen
just get a cannon m or sony alfa
Henry Harris
are there any good chink phones for around 150$ with 4 - 4.5 inch displays? i'd get a xiaomi phone but theyre all 5 inch or bigger which is a no-go for me
Nathan Moore
What are some small cheap things I can buy on GB? I want to waste some money but I can't think of anything to get
Dylan Baker
I'm still waiting on some components to be delivered to my agent, ordered them a couple of weeks ago
Isaac Brown
Please never post here again.
William Long
Saw this on twatter. A wonderful case of getting chinked.
Justin Watson
Don't fuck about with lithium batteries.
Joshua Rogers
What would he have done if he got the pillow case for that blue thing anyway? Not like pillows exist in that shape that you can put in there.
Chase Davis
You can buy filling separately.
Michael James
Maybe it's a normal Pillow and the Legs and tail are stuffed? If not that's a retarded idea in itself
When searching on Ali, is there some way to ignore/filter out the low-priced "add-ons" (zipper cases, boxes, etc.) bundled with the actual products (and often not even in-stock) just to allow a price range for the product that makes it show up earlier in sort-by-price listings?
Joseph Ross
New Zircons showed up. Gonna do some A-B with the MS-16s (not apples-to-apples, but these two seem to be the memeist cheap chinkphones not by KZ).
Xavier Evans
Yeah that's annoying. I love in particular where they'll add an "empty box" option clearly for that purpose.
Kayden Cruz
God, I hate that shit. Same on ebay.
Aaron Gonzalez
Can I chink the chink out of an expensive item? It's now almost out of the excited delivery window and there's no tracking info. I'm going to put in a PayPal claim as soon as it hits 36 days, so is there any chance it will then arrive after PayPal refund me?
Lincoln Cook
reminds me of this
Xavier Rivera
Nice.
Henry Lopez
ebay is ruined (it always was) but the chinks have basically outchinked ebay in all search results using that method
makes searching for stuff infuriating. all sellers are listed as being local to my home country, even though they are all china based still.
Easton James
These (pic) seem perpetually out of stock now. nextthing.co/pages/chip Is there a chinesium clone or is an OrangePi the closest you can get now?
Ethan Morgan
So I gave a quick read of the wiki but I'm still uncertain about something. When it says memory cards and USB sticks does that include SD cards? I just recently bought a phone from Aliexpress and now I'm thinking of getting an SD card.
Landon Murphy
buy real SD cards, sandisks are cheap as fuck in microcenters or amazon or wherever
dont fuck around with cheap fake chink memory cards, SSDs or USB sticks or you're gonna have a shit time
Aiden Baker
if you don't buy Mixza you'll never make it in /csg/
Tyler Jones
Why would you want that over an orange pi zero or something actually much better?
Jack Gomez
> being this wrong
Juan Adams
Kek
Jeremiah Hernandez
It's not like the csg store memory cards are fake. They're fine.
Isaac Roberts
This looks underpowered and with nowhere near as much community support as RasPi, why would you want it?
the price of that shark chink memory card is more than a fuckin sandisk or samsung ultra
Matthew Perez
>a) OrangePi's are memes. please elaborate. I've got a RPi 2B, and I'm looking to buy a few more SBC's to experiment with running an OTP cluster. I'll probably end up just buying a few RPi3's (or maybe Odroid C2's if I end up putting it off long enough) but I haven't really decided yet. What's the knock on the OrangePI?
Chase Reyes
Not interested in being pitched on alternatives. These things work great, especially for what I use them for, have good support, and are more flexible out of the box than a Pi.
Samuel Perez
where to find pic related?
Jose Harris
Sharks are great, but no longer a deal.
Josiah Gray
>a) OrangePi's are memes. You definitely should use the more obscure devices to avoid falling into the "using meme" trap...? >b) I've got other CHIPs and they do what I need with less fucking-with out-of-the-box. 1. Throw armbian on a microSD with the three or so mouse clicks Etcher requires. 2. Use it. Can't be done with less than 1337 years of hacker experience, I know.
Noah Roberts
Memes because any SBC question here will attract OrangePi boosters and shills. They've got their place, but they're not the be-all end-all for every purpose.
Lucas Thomas
Pi 3's are 29 bucks delivered at Arrow
Jeremiah Garcia
...Zircons have much more low-bass; probably unnaturally so except for electronic music. Otherwise the Headrooms sound way more 'natural'; the Zircons are like listening to a clock radio with a big sub-woofer wired in, distant and muddy but thumping, while the Headrooms are like sitting in front of really nice speakers but no woofer.
Plus the usual IEM microphonics and sealed-back 'underwater' feeling with the Zircons. Quality/build is OK for the price, but not up to the MS-16s. Can't seem to find any 'around the ear' cord position that works for the Zircons (to help minimize the microphonics). The control button is also nearly impossible to find on the Zircons (it's nearly flush with the housing and tiny).
I'll probably use the Zircons for Synthwave-and-chill, but otherwise they're trash.
tl;dr: IEMs are memed so heavily here that I wonder if a lot of you aren't considering/trying earbuds (or cans, although I'm not aware of any chifi ones worth owning?). Especially if you have a white man's taste in music there are so many trade-offs for dat' nigga' baaaaassssssssss.
Nathan Reed
arent those the "computers" where the shipping more than the device in 2015/2016? is that still the case? wont they fire up the machines only if you do a bulk order?
Carson Garcia
If you pay >3x as much as for an Orange Pi Zero+, you might as well just get an Odroid XU4 or C2 (or HC1 on NAS use) for something actually fast rather than getting the RPi3 with its overheating throttle ("just add active fan and heat sink!") and overburdened USB / networking ports. I don't get how that one remained this popular.
Camden Cruz
I have a bunch of Pi 3's when IBM were giving them away for free. They are average SBC's with a large community behind it.
They run hot as fuck even with heat sinks on. USB and NIC share the same bus so speeds are pathetic. They wont release a Pi 4 until 2019.
ASUS Tinkerboard is good but didn't get a community rallying behind it unfortunately
Joshua Howard
>the shipping COSTED more* fuck me
Jace Clark
whats with the air humidifier meme? i see 'em popping everywhere
Xavier Gray
in China you need them because air is toxic
James Baker
> They run hot as fuck even with heat sinks on. USB and NIC share the same bus so speeds are pathetic. Yea, that's my point - if you spend that much anyhow (assuming you can't get IBM to give you more for free, eh), you can essentially avoid these issues with an ODroid XU4. It's generally already faster, doesn't throttle nearly as badly on stock passive cooler, and it's also not really overburdened on USB3 UAS GBE networking either.
Juan Baker
>despatch >despatch >despatch
Deliver when?
Parker Reed
I guess they're selling winter related items?
If you heat you might get air that is too dry, and then you dry out while you sleep and wake with a headache. Or such.
That's more the air purifier, not the humidifier.
Hudson Wright
More game testing on the RS-20A Family Pocket handheld famiclone.
296/508 roms so far now. Real solid list at this point but there are quite a few more good games on it yet still. Only a couple are unplayable. The AAAs in it finally started to die (screen flickers/go dark when battery is low). Last much longer than the rechargeable battery packs do. Must be like 4-6 hours vs the rechargeable batteries 2-3 hrs on full charge. Quite a few repeats though. But I suppose having some games both in ENG and JP is quite nice. Chinks are obviously trying to cater to all kinds of audiences with this thing.
Henry Price
Gearbest and Banggood don't knowingly sell fake roundeye-branded SD cards. Gearbest in particular often put them on flash sales so if you're not desperate to have it right now keep an eye on them. Buying one that's suspiciously low priced on Ali is just asking to get chinese'd.
Jeremiah Green
This wireless charge work with every smartphone model or only with iPhone 8?
I have a Motorola G3 (yes, it's a garbage, I know).
Ordered a chuwi hi10 from there, got address wrong and canceled. Glad i did, heard a lot that they are delicate. Then a lenovo 4 10 .Getting used lg v930 instead.
Logan Miller
does the iphag 8 use qi charge? if so then it should work on everything
Josiah Russell
>chiclet
Carter Nguyen
I ordered a Chuwi Hi13 that's coming on Friday. I'm basically going to use mine docked as a laptop 80% of the time anyway. £300 (£280 + £20 customs fees) seemed a solid price for a low-end lappy with a 3k screen that I can take the screen off, should I want to. A bit top heavy from what I hear, but my old laptop I used to call "The Lapburner" even when doing light tasks on it, so I don't think I will mind a cool keyboard.
Mediocre speakers don't bother me much either. I'd just plug my Cloud II headset into it.

At the shops next to your local children protection services

go on to Linixium blog and throw linux on that shit

>webcam taped >t. mentally unstable referral link shill please go back to your your safe space chat and stay there
Nicholas Wilson
i don't get why everyone gets their sandy vagina covering knickers in a twist about referral links just copy the link w/o the referral part and you are golden it's not like they are using url shorteners or hiding what they are doing
Colton Smith
because no one wants pathetic fucking faggots spamming their affiliate codes in here trying to make money
Hudson Ross
nigga thats like dismissing/hating an entire website because they use ads like, just use an adblocker same principle, are you telling me you don't block ads? you are not an hypocrite, are you? i'll pretend the ad hominem ain't there, benefit of doubt and all that
Jeremiah Hill
you're the one pushing your affiliate codes m8
Blake Adams
Oh shit this is not a drill my Mi Has arrived in the country after nearly a month and I think it's got past customs. If I don't pay tax on this it's a ridiculous bargain for 575 quid.
Kayden Stewart
I mean Mi Notebook. Got overexcited
Landon Rogers
but i just told you how to circumvent that! i'm not the dude sharing those links, but seeing there is no argument again, i'll stop here if life has taught me something, that would be letting go of shit that has nothing to do with me. it's just not worth it m8. like this conversation, now i see neither you nor me will get something out of this, i'll move to something else. i feel old for saying this (i am 27 after all) but please think about letting things beyond yourself be, my life quality increased exponentially once i applied that to life. have a nice day wherever you are.
Landon Brown
>referral links
Parker Gutierrez
Got my Feeltech FY6600 yesterday, QUALITY
Levi Adams
How hard is it for you to sold it? shit looks really easy.
Isaiah Reyes
Not him but that's not the point. Why would anyone pay full price for broken shit?
William Morgan
Just got my Xiaomi RN4. Is there any viable way to unlock the bootloader that doesn't involve registering on Xiaomi website and waiting for the unlock code to be sent via text?
Jose Ortiz
Whats the best pair of headphones best buy has to offer that dont cost an arm an d a leg?
Adam Morales
>pretending to be african-american on a chinese cartoon board >"just use an ad block for referral link" >"just copy the link w/o the referral part" >actually wanting referral link spam how much of a fucking brainless retarded shill are you, exactly? get back on your safe-space chat and stay there
David Sanchez
>same principle, are you telling me you don't block ads? The correct analogy here would be him not using sites that block ads, or him not wanting sites to use ads. But yeah, referral links are banned here for a reason, because their spam is annoying.
Benjamin Clark
>weld
Grayson Wright
Neewer NW700 or eBay BM800? Is there a difference? Are either any good at all? $25 for the mic, arm, and pop filter seems too good to be true. Phantom power injector is an extra $20 though.
Thomas Gutierrez
> best buy in /csg/ is this a new meme?
Nicholas Parker
I already welded it, but I asked for a refund.
Ethan Rivera
Sup Forums is quite clear that advertising in general including referral links is not allowed. So the correct analogy would be if you have a sticker saying "no flyers" on your mailbox but someone keeps shoving fistfuls of flyers into your mailbox every day, and also that person is a pedophile.
Christopher Morgan
Bomfy Bech Beviews
Mason Ward
just close your eyes so you dont see the flyers, whats the big deal
Xavier Barnes
does it work fine after fixing it (no distortion in output)?
also, based mods
Oliver Walker
I'm using a 10 dollar Logitech PS2 keyboard still..... kinda shitty I left all my stuff in storage 3 years ago and its too far away to pick up
whats a good cheap keyboard to get off the chinks?
Because it isn't portable Because I can't use that with a LiPo battery Because it doesn't have a motion sensor Because it doesn't run on open source software Because it has no settings whatsoever aside from temperature Because it isn't even grounded Because 10 additional watts don't matter for hobbyist electronics Because my eyes aren't fucked
>Dso138
Looks cool, ty
Jason Stewart
Are those James Donkey mice actually any good? My logitech piece of shit G402 left click has failed and rather than fix it I'd rather buy a decent mouse, is the chinkshit worth it?
Samuel Wood
>Because it isn't even grounded someone who feels the need to spend $50 on a meme soldering iron for their hobbyist electronics isn't very grounded either
Justin Bell
>Because it isn't portable >Because I can't use that with a LiPo battery the input voltages of your toy100 and a t12 clone are literally the same. and before you talk about portability, let me remind you that you need a 2.1mm barrel jack to power your toy >Because it has no settings whatsoever aside from temperature it has way more settings that your gyroscope enabled toy. all you have to do is press the rotary encoder for a while to access the settings >Because it isn't even grounded when assembling it (the pcb on the handle), you can configure the grounding mode of the tip: floating, direct connection to ground, via 1 mohm resistor or use a cap between the tip and ground >Because 10 additional watts don't matter for hobbyist electronics lel? it doesnt matter if you are a toddler and want to play some tetris on a tiny escuse of an overpriced screen. electronics hobbyist still have to solder thick gauge wire, which your toy will have quite the trouble sinking the heat to >Because my eyes aren't fucked you head, on the other hand...
just stop talking about what you dont understand. after trying one of those i came to the conclusion that, that piece of shit is the juicero of soldering irons, feel free to prove me wrong sometime
Julian Perry
And here's yet another 11.11 order; an Arduino starter kit which only cost me €12 after using a $2 store coupon and $5 off coupon.
Noah Watson
thats pretty neet m8 I wouldnt know what the fuck to do with it though my imagination skills are less than zero
