So I dropped out of college a year ago without my parents knowing. I was taking a comp science degree. To make my lie more believable I need some stuff that would make me look like a hacker to display on my computer screen when my parents enter my room. Is there anything I could type into command prompt to keep it displaying rolling lists or whatever so that it looks like im working on some programming project?
Btw im not THAT stupid, dont give me anything that deletes my shit because I will know.
Tell your parents you dropped out you lying faggot

the dishonor would be too great. I will just kill myself when my supposed graduation year comes and enjoy my life until then

as someone who did something like this, the sooner you fess up, the better. It's going to suck REALLY bad but putting it off is worse. If you had the balls to kill yourself you'd have done it by now
On a larger issue, learn to tackle problems as they arise instead of putting them off forever. Your life will be hell otherwise

>as someone who did something like this how did you get out of the situation user?
Xavier Russell
I didn't, I had to face the music. I wasted 7 years of my life
Colton Wright
>I will just kill myself No you won't, you retarded child. You are too much of a pussy to do that. You will just waste years of your life, then go through all the shame anyway and play life on hard mode flipping burgers. Been there, was NEETing and supposed to kms before I hit 30, then I ended up bouncing back, finishing college and getting corporate wagie job. Make good money now and I'm always thinking how much ahead I would be right now if I didn't waste those years.

So you graduated and got your first job after 30? Seriously how the fuck does that happen? How did you explain the huge void in your CV at your job interview?

This OP. I'd failed classes, sort of panicked and pretended I was still enrolled for a whole year and a bit after being kicked out of study, but eventually I just decided to be truthful and told them. They were a bit annoyed but I'd told them I was stressed at the fact I'd failed and didn't know what to do and they helped me get back on my feet and gave me a second chance. I used that to sign back up and get back into study and finish my degree. You just have to man up and try and finish what you started, it may feel hard to do but just try it. It felt good for me when I'd finally finished my degree and graduated.

I'm not 30 yet actually, late twenties, just don't want to kms anymore. Got my first job at 25, so I blew 2 years of my life in total I guess. For my first job I said that I was not happy with my major and switched, it's actually pretty believable, and somewhat true since I'm glad I went for different major after dropping. After that it stopped being an issue because people care more about work experience and skills than education. I started with low tier corporation and then moved up switching to better ones after getting work experience. I'm quite charismatic and actually, as it turns out, pretty good at working, so it went ok. If I was NEETing till 30 that would be different story, I think at this point you either bullshit hardtime and lie on CV or just look for job in retail.

Instead of "living a failure" you have to find out what you want to do with your life. There's a difference between getting overrun and a tactical retreat, if you know what I am saying. I'm pretty sure you parents will understand it better that way.
But take your time, a few years mean jack shit when you look at how many years you are going to work at a job. Just think for a few weeks what jobs could be intersting for you. Not only superficial, really think about it and than act.
Jace Gray
not him, but i too was in this situation. i just told them at the end of the second year that i tried repeating some of my courses because i failed them, but still couldn't manage. so instead i took an easier degree for 2 years. it was worth it. being around idiots sure does make you feel smart and improve your confidence
Jonathan Garcia
user... just tell the truth. You don't want to get yourself into an even deeper mess. Start sorting yourself out right now. Understand why you dropped out, and start being honest with yourself and others so that you can make changes for the better.
Jose Martinez
Ping something. Also stop lying to your parents you faggot.

I suggest you train martial arts as much as you can, commit a crime and go to prison for a few months. You can then say prison fucked up your college plans.

>Got my first job at 25 what a joke, how much time did you NEET? 3 months? that doesnt count, go back to be a normie

I did that, it ended badly. A guy in France did that for his whole life (he was pretending to be a surgeon) he ended up killing his whole family and then himself.

my ex's dad got fired from his job and left the house every morning for over a year pretending he was still working there people are wild
