1. Social media makes money for people with destructive political philosophies and legitimizes fringe leftists at the expense of your privacy.
2. Social media is proven to make people unhappy and less productive.

The closest thing to one i use is Steam and MSN Messenger back then.

I already did, though I never really used it much to begin with. The only social media I use now is Sup Forums and Snapchat, with the latter being purely for messaging people. I'm thinking about getting rid of Snapchat because I only use it to communicate with two people and it's a cancerous little app. I also want to get rid of my smartphone and buy a dumbphone that just calls and texts that I can pull the battery out of. I'm tired of not being able to trust this thing I carry everywhere because it probably watches and listens to everything I say and do.

Whatsapp is fine by me. It's the only one I use, and the best part is that I don't have to see everyone else's shitty opinions, memes, or jokes. I see screenshots of the shit people say on Twitter and it makes me want to put a gun in my mouth with what passes as comedy these days. Instagram is just as bad.
