It feels like an american dick : something is missing.

Manual is a meme desu.

...

fucking underrated as fuck

This post actually made me really sad

...

...

>be american
>car drives itself to the mart

savage

Nothing to be triggered about.
Automatic is comfy AF.
Manual should be ditched desu, it's bullshit for manchildren who think being IN FULL CONTROL makes them more manly or some shit.

Is this supposed to trigger Europeans? I don't understand.

frenchd

>buying a car today with my uncle
>gets in some Ford
>automatic transmission
>gets out immediately
>"fuck no, driving automatics is for women"

Lol

your uncle is a closeted homosexual

Is it true Europeans don't have push to start?

Is there a country smaller than Europe?

A lot of new cars have it, I think it's more of a question in which price range the car is

You might be right, he's like 42 and never had a girlfriend.

There's nothing wrong with being gay tho

knob shifters trigger me too
fuck FCA, I'm pretty sure they're the only auto company that uses them

Advantages to driving with manual transmissions:
>More control over your car
>Increased fuel efficiency
>The vast majority of the world does this
>Fun and engaging to drive
>Can drive automatic if you really have to

Advantages to driving with automatic transmissions:
>Americans can do it

>Advantages to driving with automatic transmissions:

You can drive while eating like a proper American pig

>>More control over your car
>>Increased fuel efficiency
what a load of shit

top omelette

>you can shift more fuel efficiently than an auto
bullshit but the rest of your points still stand

it's optional, which means no one wants it

this is an excellent post

Bravo, Pierre

dang

Many Euros are totally paranoid about eating anything other than well-done steak.

>most inventions and technological advances are to make life easier
>Someone makes driving a car easier
>NO THAT'S WRONG YOU SHOULD DO IT THE HARDER WAY

???

What's the S setting for ?

They see me shartin'

Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty
Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty
Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty
Tryin' to catch me ridin' dirty

We've always been told to cook our stuff well. The idea of eating something still raw inside was weird to me when I had my first steak.

Still most europosters will probably lie about it.

I hate overly complicated stuff that can break easily. I'll take a simple manual over this any day. At least have a manual cable link to the auto.

super speed

>Push to start
Brought to you by the faggots who decided everybody needs touchscreen technology

Gears make sense in some hilly European countries, but I have no idea why it never became popular over here in the Netherlands.
Though basically all new luxury cars sold here are automatic.

I refuse to believe automatics are a thing because manual is too hard to drive

Sport
you are supposed to use paddle shifters on the steering wheel. it will still shift for you if you don't manually do it, but it revs higher

Basically everything around you replaced something that was only marginally harder/more inconvenient to use.

I always order a burger well done and it still tastes good. Ordering a steak well done makes it taste like leather.

Don't know why it's so unpopular here.

I remember when I was still in driving school, I heard the manager having to redirect a possible client to some other school because they were the only one in town teaching auto.

So basically it gives you control on the gears ?

I always find it odd when European show an aversion to a rare steak yet they have many dishes that themselves are made of raw meat.

yes

Ways to cook a burger is much more personal preference thing. You can't really ruin ground beef. With steak though anything more cooked than Medium Rare is a waste of good beef.

Sitting in traffic destroys all the fun of driving a manual. I miss doing my own shifting sometimes but its not worth the hassle imo

Raw meat isn't the issue here. A lot of sausages and stuff like ham is raw.
The problem is that it feels kind of weird to only half-cook something.

>Dodge
Which button parks it at back at the dealership where it belongs?

While we're on the subject, who /driving shit/ here ?

Mine's an original from 1998 that looks like it invaded Iraq a couple times.

It is also safer to eat steak red
Steak comes from one animal. Hamburger can be contaminated from several sources due to mixing of several animals.

Do Europeans actually even get triggered in these threads?

nah i'm alright

I have a 1999 Toyota Camry with a bad rear strut and is in serious need of a tune-up.

I fell for the manual meme on /o/ and I fucking hate it since the traffic here is so bad I take my mom's Acura to work and drive my car on the weekends when the roads are not so congested.

KeK'd

I have a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo with 275,000 miles on it. Driving a car like mine is akin to wearing a male chastity belt. I can't get rid of it though, there's nothing wrong with it and it shows no signs of stopping.
