Public schools are too poor to have swimming pools, let alone proper classrooms.

Most kids learn how to swim while getting their ''swimming diploma'', while this diploma is not required by law to be allowed swim, most schools won't let come along on swimming trips if you don't have it so that they can't be held responsible if you drown. You do need to have it if you wan't to join the police,fire department, or the military.
However a lot of immigrants (mostly Turks and Moroccans) never make their children get this diploma, I'm fine with this though because they'll be the first to frown when we eventually get flooded.
